I'm not sure, but does Guiliman's voice have a slight reverb to it, or is it just me? If he does then that's a freaking cool detail for either just him or all the Primarchs in general, that even their very voices are otherworldly. Edit: Guiliman really needs a vacation, holy fuck.
A vacation?!?! He had one! It was 10 000 years long, mate. He better get to work, i need more books to inhale, prefferably about him interacting with the Tau for the 1st time, i´ve been craving that almost more than finding out what really happened on the Vengeful Spirit.
@@stephenjenkins7971 Lion El'Jonson was arguably in a coma. Guilliman was on the brink of death in a stasis field. I don't think he's gotten any rest at all.
@@vavra222 But time didn't pass for him, since he was in stasis. He was injured by Fulgrim and the next second he wakes up in a strange room surrounded by chaos marines and loyalists.
Guilliman venting at the grave of Sanguinius. So happy that GW still have people that know exactly how the universe is supposed to be. 14 year old me is going crazy that Guillimand and the lion have returned, and the tyranids are finally doing more than just sensing out the galaxy
Im wrote it before, il write it here - it's funny to me what RU-vid has considered this video to be "Childrens Content". Yes, Tyranid ripping a Terminator in half with ease is truly something i wish to show to my kids. If i had any. Never mind that, the hype is real. Also..."Did you know the Lion is back?" *Runs away*
@@mordredpendragon1235 Now what i think about it, 40k is pretty tame in comparison to what kids usually watch on RU-vid. Or TickTock (Maybe, idk, i don't have TickTock)
Keep seeing people say this and i think it's bs, the lion is a primarch a demi God son of the emperor, like the emperor they shouldn't age their genetic construction shouldn't allow aging to be possible aging is caused by skin cells dying faster than the body can replace them a primarch who can heal wounds in seconds shouldn't age because their genetic make-up produces cells faster than they die if it didn't they wouldn't be able to heal so fast, like sapcemarines are know to never die of old age for the same reason it's only because they have not got the same level of healing factor as a primarch that they do even age over thousands of years, it's actually dumb that the lion has aged
@@MrDekasOne The Lion was also wrecked in an attack enough to be stuck in a coma for 10,000 years. Guilliman has directly stated that Fulgrim's poison and the weight of his new responsibilities have begun to impact him (hair thinning and greying a little). I imagine what El'Jonson went through could have done a number on him.
@@RichardStrong86 yes and that all fine and dandy except it shouldn't be happening as I said before age should be a non issue for primarchs because their healing is faster than their bodies cells can die no amount of stress is going to change that, guilliman and horus needing special weapons just to wound them badly enough that their healing and apothecaries couldn't help shows just how op their healing is, the lore around the lions wounding and his coma needs to be revisited by gw because currently it doesn't make sense, how can Luther wound the lion so badly he needs 10,000 years to recover yet no other space marine could even come close to doing that kind of damage to a primarch even with the help of chaos and if his wounds were actually life threatening why wasn't he put in stasis and if they weren't actually life threatening why did it take a primarch 10,000 years to heal and why did he age
@@iloveplayingpr then it's a good thing you aren't in charge of anything lmfao..... So turning into a literal tentacle monster is cool but aging a decade or two isn't?
I'm loving it. The direction they are taking with Guilliman is great. That's how you create a heroic character story arc. Despite being a Primarch, he understands that false hope will not save them, and hope exists only for the time when every action necessary has been executed. He has his times of doubt, disbelief , but he is right when he says the current Imperium is nothing but dogma and propaganda. Guilliman is a pragmatist, a Primarch made not necessarily born.
Still though question for that, the Primarchs are created by the Emperor and Erda (Primarchs Biological Mother and Big E's Waifu) are they still created or was born? sorry for my english
@@ronanchristiana.belleza9270 Of course when we say born we mean it figuratively. They never experienced natural birth as we all know, but they had a point of inception and had to go through infancy, though at a far more rapid rate.
The bugs are scarier and deserve a refresh model line. Similar to necrons and guard alot of old models need an update. Still my templars are going to need alot of kit bashing and 3d prints
Before Cadia fell.... before the Primarchs returned... before the coming of the 42nd millennium, everyone thought a Primarch would fix everything. That by sheer will a primarch could turn back the decay of the last 10,000 years... no asked if the Primarch would want to. Only that he feels obligated.
Damn Tyranids making an Apothecaries job that much harder XD. Watch this Apothecary be forced to search the body halves to find out which side has the gene seed organs in them, spoiler they both do, in this episode of 40k Dirty Jobs.
if the other new edition cinematics bring hope and hype, I think this one has to be one of the most depressing trailers. Hell I feel the dread more than ever. Props to the writers for making the 40k scene more depresso espresso!
1) Holy shit the Tyranids woke up from their coma 2) You'd think Guilly could do better than fugging daddy Calgar, especially since running straight at the Hive Fleet is proving just as bad as the Hive Fleet having reached Macragge.
I kind of think Guillimans use of Victory and pointing out how hollow it is, is a dig at the players that while that the Imperium is always wining. Most of Ultima(eastern) segmentum is across the rift. Obscurus (north) is split by the rift and barely held. Tempestus(south) has the orktarius war ending and the fall out of that, plus a number of necron dynasties. Now Pacificus (west) is being over run by nids in the 4th tyranic war.
Chaos is gonna start licking its lips if legions are brought back, they will forsure go into overtime to corrupt just the slightest weakest link, just to corrupt the entire legion of like 100 thousand space marines and cause some big damage just like the heresy
@@charlesforsyth8655 Eh question is, how would they do that? unless they have the Technology where they could mass Produce space Marines like the Legions of Old
@ronanchristiana.belleza9270 they can basically do that exact thing with the Ultramarines and Dark Angels as the main problem with making new Marines is gene seed degradation which isn't a thing if you have access to a primarch
The more I se the imperium losing, the more worried I am for the universe future, they seem to loose on all fronts, and without the imperium, the universe is lost. Even the Eldar knows this, it's why they resurrected Guilleman from stasis, I'm sorry but... I feel the imperium needs victories, because right now they are just dying, there's to many enemies on to many fronts, wheres hope, when every battle is a loss
I have seen a couple of channels have the idea of the Imperium collapsing into multiple warring groups. No idea how that would stop the Tyranids, but it could in theory allow a greater flexibility in how you construct your army (e.g. you could have Mechanicus fully unrestrained in their use of alien tech).
What I love is new-old Terminators which look soo freaking good! I do not like primaris but old classic terminators are just perfection. Also, Lion has not that great of a miniature, look at him in 30k! The helmet and the face is perfection but armor looked somehow generic. Did you catch the old tyranids like Screamerfex? Tyranic wars>Fighting Chaos
A few points: 1. Yes, classic Terminators are perfection. 2. I will disagree with you there on the Lion's plastic release. Both his Heresy version and his 40k incarnation both are fantastic. I might be biased as the majority of minis in my collection are the 1st Legion. 3. This my good man is the Screamer Killer, and it is amazing. Glad to see Nids get a range refresh too with some Space Marine classics
Once again official warhammer animations bringing the heat. Hilarious to see people who were so against GW hiring animators drooling over these and acting like they werent campaigning against it 2 years ago. Whatever happened to that boycott? So glad GW didnt listen to the riff raff.
What are you talking about? That was for Warhammer plus and guess what? Astartes still hasn't had a new episode in almost three years and Warhammer plus biggest show that were promised before it launched only recently released while hammer and bolter has had maybe two good episodes. Sounds like the "riff raff" were right
From what I understand, I don't think it was the hiring of animators, it was more people protesting GW's banning of fan animations, and the company also seeming to engage in some legal strong‐arming of fan animators (i.e. join our company or...) It didn't help that the following official Warhammer+ animations seemed of lesser quality, with "Hammer and Bolter" being the biggest culprit with its limited frames. Thar said, the official animation teams should definitely be commended for good work, and it seems that even "Hammer and Bolter" does actually have some good stuff if you can roll with the limited frames. It's just sucks that this has to be rolled up with some negative-feeling decisions.
Redemptor Dreadnoughts are balanced midrange ones, the new Brutalis is melee focused, and now this one in the trailer is gonna be long range. 3 redemptor variants.
The fact that the one primaris is wielding a combi bolter with a flamer makes me hopeful for more weapon choices for them plus the apothecary looks to be in terminator armor which I am hoping comes about cause termys do look awesome.
I realy like your reaction to warhammer stuff, this one as well. But I would love to see more WH: Fantasy Videos. So I would to recommend 2 Channels. 1. Cody Bonds, who makes funny Introductions to TW:Warhammer Characters, they are all good to watch. And 2. The Book of Choyer they make very Lore Intensive Stuff, I personally love the video they made for the White Dwarf, it is a bit older but it still gives me the chills everytime I rewatch it.
i'm sure chaos will pop in to try and ruin everything in space marine 2 but i do think this is probably connected... i'm sure they workshopped space marine 2's storyline heavily with GW
Bfff, they shoul have made 10th edition trailer from ork view: "So many good krumpin', more bugz komin' to uz to stomp, I heard dat sum old beakie warboss did woke up fer uz to krump 'im, diz iz fun, need more DAKKA and WAAAGH!!!!"
4:50 With us now knowing that these Tyrranids specifically eat psykers, their reaction to the terminator librarian appearing makes a LOT more sense. "Ooh, big food!"
No organic material should be able to cut adamantium like paper. I hate the armor is useless trope. Ceramite is not as strong, but no bone or chitin could be as tough/compression resistant as metals, poly crystal and ceramics. They also never show the speed of the Space Marines. Astartes is the only video that came close.
I felt that "no waaaay... they broke him?!", this crazy new librarian arrives to save the day just to get the worst headache of his life! that scene, together with robot gilryman's line right after of alomst "hope is lost" just brings this all together to terribly beautiful ending of this amazing trailer!
Gulliman keeps saying "that is what they say" "that is what they sing" "that is what they want to hear".... victory..... but lore will tell uis (or not it is 40k after all) what it actually is
is it me or those tyranids looked weird af? that carnifex, or whatever it was, looked more like a gene stealer than a regular tyranid do they have new units? new evolution? or am I seeing things? any tyranid experts around that could educate me?
These could be the nids that got lured into fighting a ork empire.....and winning. If they one the war then emperor protect us cause were about to get our asses kicked by nids stronger then any of the hive fleets
That's a Screamer Killer. It's based on a really old model from second or third edition. They revamped the design for the new edition. And yes. There are a whole host of revamped and new units for Tyranids. The Hive Mind has been busy
See now this is part where I am starting to think that this may be the right time to bring in the Zoats as a faction, given that they are now independent from the Tyranids. Obviously they would have their own agenda, so their goals will not align with those of the Imperium, but it might just give humanity a bit of a breather.
IMO 9th ed cinematic was better, you could actually tell wtf was happening most of the time. even the models, animations and texture work was waaaay better. to me 10 edition looks like a bad rushed ingame cutscene. did you see the lack of texture and detail on those termies when they ported in? compare that to the textures and detail on the primaris from 9th. leagues ahead. I think GW rushed this whole reveal like 3 months before they had plannec for some reason. probably leaks etc
I'm gonna hard disagree with you there. 1. 9th ed trailer was a snore for me. It was also confusing too. 2. The animation quality of both looks fine, if anything, this one is better. 3. I saw no problems with the textures of the Terminators, and what you thought was lack of texture was the lighting 4. It doesn't feel rushed to me at all. You can like the other one all you like. Just saying I don't agree.
