Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 - I Can't Believe This News Today! Horde Mode, Big 2025 Plans! 

Pick up the first game for some campaign. It's a fun game. But if you're not going to buy the first, well, watch a youtube playthrough and hope it's a fun player to show off the brutal enders.

Road map doesn't always mean content.. just remember that. Destiny had roadmaps for many many things that have never been added.

Space Marines 2 is adding new content. and will continue to do so

highly doubt new race cause space marine 2 is specifically for xeno so if u want to expect them to add new race they need add new map ,storyline etc which I don't think they would .Maybe in few years or they just make space marine 3 with few race in it idk

Helldivers problem same enemies forever got so boring but I know warhammer coomers are diehards

It has that on the battle barge,The OG Battle Barge for the Adeptus Astartes,It’s just an action and adventure game compared like the first game.And more linear.

Would be amazing but they won’t. Sure you have like 3 planets under invasion but it’ll always be the bugs or choas space marines. The planets won’t be able to be liberated or anything like that sadly

That's what they NEED. Make SM2 the DEFENITIVE 40K game experiance. RTS just doesn't capture it. I've always wanted a game where I can fight nearly every enemy faction in a shooter, this game is that oppertunity, either add new enemies to fight on the location of the game's story, or add in more story DLC and PVE content where we go to other planets to fight these enemies. At least Nekrons, Tyranids, Orks, all Chaos gods demons and Chaos Marines, and Dark Eldar at least. I was hoping Darktide could have at least let us fight heretics of the other Chaos gods, but so far that game is just Nurgle.

Genestealers will come to Darktide and the way it's building plenty of scope to expand further.​@TheZamaron

I want Titus to die in a sad by epically heroic ending, then the story DLC is him as a full on dreadnought.

It’s not a Helldivers type game,It’s Space Marine 2,It’s a saber game and it’s linear with action like the first game.

The community kills those games. They whine, they threaten, they review bomb until the devs give in and make changes. Then the game gets worse and dies.

I was wondering the same. I wrote an email to them to clarify this aspect. Cannot found anything online.

The season pass takes the season pass model. You buy all the planned dlc for the next year as one bundled purchase early and get it cheaper than if you bought them all one by one. Just like how season pass originally were

@@ProfessorWeebology I can confirm. I've emailed them and this was the response "There are no time limitations on receiving the content from the DLCs included in the Season Pass." And in another email "The content unlocked by the Season Pass should not have any time limitations.". I think we have misunderstood the season pass into the battle pass, sadly.

Pretty sure it is going to have matchmaking for operations at launch (but not for campaign), it just wasn't in the preview build people were playing a couple weeks back.

Same I hope the additional PVE content adds narrative content too. It'd be a missed opportunity not to expand on the WH40K lore

The issue is the Devs already said all paid DLC's will be cosmetics only. I guess then they need to break that.

Nah get lost. PvP is what kept Space Marine Alive. If you don’t like it, don’t let the door hit you when you leave

@@TheTraveler980 It's no big deal. I wasn't going to miss this game no matter the reviews at launch. It's ok to have a few games a year that are like that for you. I've prordered one other game this year.

@@ericsaari2901 You don't understand. Pre-orders as a practice is why games are never finished at launch, and typically do not meet expectations as you are likely decieved. Look at Anthem, Cyberpunk 2077, and Redfall at launch.

It's ok to preorder a game several days before launch when its one of your most-looked forward to games, especially if you are smart about it and do your research and were getting it anyway a few days later. No one in their right mind should have preordered any of the games you mentioned. Preordering a game a few days or a week before launch that you were going to get anyway literally has zero effect on the issues that you raise that plagued those other titles (and many other releases). Once a game has gone Gold, you're getting the same game at launch if you preorder it at that point or buy it day one. There's no difference at that point as the game is as done as it will get. I do agree with you that no one should preorder prior to this date, and also that you are taking a huge risk preordering if you haven't seen footage and had some reviews opinions to go by as regards the state of the game. If you think trying to crusade to stop all people from preordering so that games will turn out better, I advise you to read Don Quixote. That ship has sailed, and due to corporations always needing more profit, the quality of everything only goes down over time as the years pass, and that will only continue. However, Saber appears to have done pretty well here. Not all development and releases are equal, so I agree it is wise to be cautious.

You weren't paying attention. Gameplay additions are all free. That means game modes, weapons, missions, enemies, etc are all FREE. Cosmetics are the only additional costs.

@@hootiemike3091everything dlc gameplay wise is free aside from cosmetics which u don’t have to buy so what’s the problem? If anything that’s awesome especially since other games lock out new modes, levels, etc through a pay wall. The only thing buyable is purely cosmetics which helps supports them to make more dlc and such, but again your not forced to buy the cosmetics to play the future DLCs.
