That fight with the warrior priest and chaos warrior was boss. I actually enjoyed how it subverted my expectations. I was expecting the usual ‘heroic light hero gets his second wind and wins against the odds’ but that brutal crushing was an epic showing of how the hero doesn’t always win. Never liked elves. Always too perfect, yet also too smug.
I would’ve have preferred the warrior priest to fight someone from the vampire count. kislev mostly fights off the chaos warriors. Still cool cinematic fight

yeah sadly WOW keep Age of Reckoning in the shadow. AoR was amazing, the landscape, the design very similar to the miniature game. It sad that it was ending cuz warhammer is a never ending war....
When I played it as a kid so many years ago I didnt know anything about english or about warhammer fantasy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I wish I had the time to play it again now that I know both.
I miss this game i was like 7 or 8 at the time maybe youger and i would love coming home and playing the little goblin dude while my dad played this bad ass orc and we would always team up or i would play as chaos

***** actually there is pretty damn many people. RVR can have easily 80 people fighting. thats pretty much how I remembered it. the server is actually quite full and they soon have to make update on that. so what you said is utter garbage. I see other players constantly in the game doing what ever.

Why not? Orcs&Goblins could ally themselves with chaos back in the day. They weren't exactly trustworthy allies, but isn't that true for all evil factions in WFB setting?
The Mark of Chaos trailer is absolutely sublime. Age of Reckoning trailers lore wise are a bit of a cringe fest but they had to show it was an online game so it still makes sense thematically.
Mean someone explain to me what's happening here this cinematic is awesome but I'm not knowledgeable about the warhammer franchise it states at the beginning of the vid that the knight serving the emperor are winning pushing the knights of chaos north but in the video the knights serving the emperor get absolutely demolished by chaos knights is there a reason why they lost so easily and also where did the I'm guessing Orcs of some kind come from?
Basically the Chaos warriors you see in this video are incredibly powerful. The roving war bands that they talk about usually are just cultists and a couple of these guys, but when you have an army of these heavily armored berserkers, you're gonna get screwed over. And the Orcs have always been around in Warhammer. They kinda spring up and just utterly destroy anyone in their way.
those "knights" that were brutally murdered are just common soldiers. And they actually managed to hold on their own fairly well. Notice in the background some of the Chaos Warriors were also killed and at the end of the fight there were less than 5 of them when at first there was like 30+ of them.
It wont be sadly. I'd rather have more games made in the fantasy setting. What Total war is doing with it is amazing and I love it but I'd also love RPGs and what-not. There is so much untapped pontential in the IP in my opinion.
I do not understand ... the warrior priest is the only one to die ... Again! And stupidly, while it's more badass to stop the cutscene when he gets up with the power of Sigmar. The warriors of the Empire are no more incapable than a warrior of another race! But they are still the victims in the Warhammer cinematics :/
They are mortal men up against savage orcs, elves with centuries of combat experience, literal demon men, and other terrible horrors. Steel and faith can only do so much...
There's been a few times that the Greenskin's have teamed up with other evil factions for a battle, but the usually turn around and attack their 'allies' after they run out of enemies. Hell, Grimgor Ironhide makes the Champions of Chaos looks like his bitches when he goes to war.

Dan Salterio haha true that, Grimgor threw a million orks at Kislev and their great storm just to see if he could. something about Warhammer orks is just awesome, I never liked orcs in other fantasy like LOTR but Warhammer has done an amazing job explaining their anatomy, motivations, and social structure.

nope Total war warhammer takes place in the current or old canon universe of warhammer, while Age of Reckoning is in its own universe or in an alternative timeline (not canon even before End Times). No Order Of the Griffon there.
why warhammer is so poor in term of games? the MMO is dead, the Total wars aren't lore-friendly and the vermintides are even worse... plz game workshop give birth to what your fans are waiting for
