Cant get enough of anything to do with witch hunters in fantasy

The female version of this video's first image carries a tome so hefty it could be used as a shield to effectively block incoming attacks. Or like plate armour; it's large enough to cover her entire torso. It would certainly be a shame if she was one of the power-mad or a murderer, ahem. So, the witch hunter organization really has two halves of its history; existing in two tiers - the original undead-resistant founding by Krieger and the later Order of the Silver Hammer from within the religion's temple itself battling against wider Chaos. I'm interested in the historic truth of the Sisters of Sigmar. Were they corrupted or simply competitors? Ah, Magnus the Pious did much good for an Empire in dire need of recovery and it is a shame that the Lord Protector's role was effectively eliminated afterwards in favour of less secular replacement positions. The direct command to that title or to the Emperor himself evidently helped temper this order during more than one time period in the Imperial past. With having posted your audio versions of the Thulmann novel trilogy, this formal expansion on record to this essential if troubled branch of the Empire is much appreciated, Narrator. Being Warhammer, these witch hunter templars are the grimmest-darkest such group of any I've known in major and minor franchises or one-shot pop media. Originally many witch hunters were followers of the Gods of Order. That concept seemingly was abandoned in later years.
