Dope video. I used to play fantasy, whe AoS came out it looked to me like models from Visctorias Secret. I was interested again after seeing the models of cities of Sigmar. Now I own Cities, flesh eaters and all of my old armies from Fantasy, ogres, warriors of chaos and lizard men. Bring it!

ya the cities of sigmar range is fire! i always liked FeC but they were a little bland. the addition of Ushuran and the newer stuff, as well as the expanded lore, made it amazing! i cannot wait for the ogres to get a refresh, i love the Gorgers! GW has done a great job over the last few years making Sigmar top notch! i was a bit reluctant for the first couple years, but there is no doubt in my mind anymore, Sigmar is Amazing!

@@DojoPaints very nice, always enjoy hearing where people are from, and what kind of local stuff is going on. we are all super excited for the new AOS escalation league. i'm def doing some painting videos for skaventide, but i'm going to use Kruleboyz, to keep a nice mix of armies (skaven and stormcast are already very popular)

ya i finally got my loonshrine after like 2 years. finally going to double back on the troggs and get them painted. its crazy how long we've been waiting on warcry gitz, i thought for sure they were coming with the map last year.

@@WarHammerMan true. I love the Loonshrine. I have one for terrine purposes. BUT I'm in the market for a second one for kitbashing purposes. I have a idea for a Night Goblins Giant. I need a Loon Shrine and the big boy from the Maggotkin of Nurgle. And alot of Green Stuff.

haha hard sell convincing people "slaves to darkness" are the good guys. but i love mine. just need to paint up some of the new stuff, to replace my old marauders and mounted marauders. love the range, the army, and the lore!

I am worried that if l invest in to a new faction or my old one (sce), by the time l get a 2000pts army GW will phase them out , just like they did with my current collection. I wish GW had like a safe faction or had rules to use units as other units .

i get what you mean. but be honest with yourself, for a minute. what actually got phased out from SCE? a couple random characters... the rest of the models they dropped from the range, just got replaced with new sculpts. the few characters that are actually gone, can easily be used as similar characters that were added... the whole, GW discontinued my whole stormcast army thing, was just a bunch of clickbait trash. they just made new models, and removed a couple datasheets nobody used. also keep in mind, more stormcast is coming. so you may see characters just come back with new models. the only real armies that got discontinued were Beastmen, and Savage orks, but they were very old ranges, and honestly nobody really played them. they belong far more in the Old World, than sigmar.

hear me out though. thoe cards will be cheaper than the battletome one and it's still easy to "edit them" with post it or that white out tape. so, if you think your army will only get 1 mini. it's still decent

ya, you're sort of on to something. but for stormcast and skaven, we know they are getting a new range refresh, so you're going to be missing like 5-10 cards completely. also if your faction cards come out shortly after the index cards, you can buy the index cards for pennies on the dollar, and just do what you said. so still not a great reason to save like $15-20 unless you're desperate to have the cards right away. i printed off the index datasheets, and put them in large sleeves, until the actual book came out for 40k

Im seeing loads of ebay posts with the 4.0 miniatures delivered within 24hours and at decent prices. Im so tempted but iv sort of told myself to wait till my 4.0 arrives to see which of the 2 armies i wanna collect based on the minis. I have a feeling ( based on experience) that ill be buying another copy of skaventide though.

ya the launch has not gone nearly as good as GW expected. they have been shipping out skaventide already, and many stores will have it already, or by friday. GW is also calling every retailer, trying to get them to buy more. i suspect they massively over-produced skaventide, just like dominion, and fully expect the set to be available for years to come, at a nice discount! i picked up 2 myself, but will def get even more in the future if we see another massively discounted offering, when GW sends the extra stock to liquidators (speculation based on dominion, and ash wastes, etc)

@@WarHammerMan It all benefits us. We deserve some good luck considering the support we give gw every week lol. Copies of skaventide are £128 in UK at the moment which is a bargain imo but due to the numerous armies I have still hardly painted or still on sprue I'm trying to limit myself to miniatures that I really like which is why I'm waiting to see how much I like the new minis. I have a strong suspicion I'm fooling myself lol

@@DojoPaints They are a bargain when compared to the kits sold separately but I'm really hoping to get a large part of my massive Slaanesh, soulblight and s2d armies painted this year. Adding a skaven horde army and/or another armoured infantry force to the list will mean time taken away from the others. 1st world problems am I right lol
