I am super pumped to play Old World I used to play 8th and a little bit of 7th ED and loved the game... I feel 2024 might be an expensive year.

Some of the two page spreads in the book were the cover art from previous WHFB starter sets, that's nice seeing those again.

It also borrows heavily from Warhammer Ancients Battle. Basicly all the new stuff comes from there.

can someone explain this to me? If you are being flanked and you roll to give ground, you simply move back 2" and don't get to turn around so you are still being flanked, but if you roll fall back in good order you move back the lowest of 2d6, then get to reform so you are facing the attacker so that you are no longer being flanked? In this case it's actually better to fall back in good order rather than to give ground?

Not a problem, thanks for the great coverage nonetheless, a Saturday delight! As an aside, I dont think any review copies of the other box have been sent out (as of yet), my LGS have recevied their Bretonnia stuff too, but not Tomb Kings. I guess they are saving the cooler faction for later haha@@SpruesAndBrews

They clearly aren't aiming this at new players. I'm out for now, but will reconsider if they start refreshing the old models - hopefully with better detail, not *more* details!
