Just a few weeks ago I actually saw this happen in person. I couldn’t believe it. About 10 car lengths in front of me, a guy parked just a couple feet over the tracks. There were no rails that came down, the crossing only had lights. The train comes in blaring his horn and hits the front of the car, immediately swinging it 180 degrees to the left. Thankfully, the driver wasn’t killed. Or at least I don’t think he was. I work for an alcohol company and had to get to my next stop so I drove over the median to turn around and others followed so I didn’t see much of the aftermath. Side note, the brakes on that train worked far better than I expected. It stopped about a quarter mile away from the impact. It was a wild thing to see in person. It’s the kinda thing you think you’d only ever see on social media.

They were just playing golf in certain places, and a rugby field is one of them.

And I said "rugby field" because I'm from the UK.

To be fair until they left Oakland, the Raiders (NFL in the USA) for GolfingWarioBros was playing on a field shared with their cities baseball team which left the baseball dirt on the football field. I think the Arizona Cardinals field can retract under the surface for hockey teams to play on a rink underneath as well iirc.
