Damn, they really went all out on this final stage. - Wario going mad with power and shrouding all of Diamond City in darkness. - Actual story progress throughout the stage, rather than just at the beginning and end. - The most rounds out of any WarioWare stage, using all the control styles. - Wario laughing at your failures instead of looking sad like in past games. - Wario actively trying to sabotage you by disabling your control hints.
Also, unique music that plays during the microgames. The “SPEED UP” and “BOSS STAGE” also has unique music cues. Not to mention this music is the remix of the main theme.
And that Wario uses magic since in the past he was a powerful magician, but we did not see him using it until now. Showing that he really wanted to win that fight.
For quite possibly the first time in WarioWare history, the final level actually feels like you're fighting someone. In this case, Wario, who sounds like he's posessed or something.
Warioware is kinda interesting storywise. You have the Greedy bad tempered grump of a guy in Wario... and yet he still has friends even when he leaves them hanging. Wario even talks about how "They fall for it every time" in the intro cutscene. Do they just like being able to make microgames?
You'll notice alot of them have specific reasons for being friends with wario of all people. Mona has odd tastes and thinks wario is cool. Ashley was lonely and met most of her friends through wario. The volt family are just game fans so apreciate the chance to express that.
It mostly because wario can be a good person but he kinda greedy all of his friends know this not to mention the fact they always seem to enjoy the micro game shenanigans despite the fact they know wario thinks he's got the upper hand
@@maverickdarkrath4780 I agree, they also mention in some of the WarioWare games that he can be a cool guy if you get to know him. Another thing is Wario might have grown up in Diamond City, because lore wise he's supposed to be childhood friend with Jimmy. T and I doubt Jimmy was in the Mushroom Kingdom.
I can believe that. Also, I'm not sure Wario was ever in the Mushroom Kingdom, was he? Super Mario Land 2 happens in a place called "Mario Land". Where is that? SML1 happens in Sarasaland where Tatanga attacked, and Tatanga also appears in SML2. I dunno. :S I can believe Wario is from Diamond City. :v
One thing I love about this is when you seem to be gaining the upper hand, he does what he does best- CHEAT. He makes it so you don't know what control scheme you'll be using next, and its for exactly 4 microgames, meaning screwing up there means its game over. And not only that, when you get commands right in the final microgame, you hear Lulu complimenting you, while Wario is like "NO!"
I really like his phrase "Beside me, you're all number 2." It's a really nice way for himself to say he's number 1. It's also funny due to the inherent toilet joke.
The last boss was what I feared it to be... Wario Mambo and Wario dance company hybrid, but with everything combined together. I was surprised to nail this one with my last life
Took me many attempts to beat it for the first time. The trick is not following the button prompts or the characters at the top screen, just follow the rhytm of the music.
In my opinion, this final stage is epic and probably the best out of the series. You are playing through Wario Deluxe's stage and doing well before he decided to cheat by disrupting the choice of controls for the next few micro-games. You begin to run out of steam while Wario Deluxe is taunting you until Lulu swoops in, turning the tables on him. After Lulu tells you not to give up, you gain the confidence you need to complete the whole stage and win the trophy. I wish more games such as this have characters swoop in to help and interact with the player when things get dire.
I absolutely hated it. Making the final boss an extended rhythm game felt extremely unfair. I ended up never finishing it because of this. Took a fantastic game and completely ruined it for me.
Fun and helpful fact: If you listen closely during when Wario uses his lightning powers, you can hear a high pitched version of the control scheme for the microgame.
This was the first time since Super Mario Land 2 where Wario was actually the villain. Even for how short it was, it felt great and a nice return to his roots. Even to point of having someone wearing red overalls fighting him.
Avery Graham It would make sense lore wise seeming as every time he does a micro game thing he ends up getting less cash than he wants. That'd also mean Captain Syrup would return
Never could get into Shake-It, but I would love to see another Wario platformer. Maybe with the rest of the Wario-Ware gang joining in to switch it up a bit (no pun intended).
People somehow are stating that the final boss was spoiled in the thumbnail, but all I see is just an image of Wario... dressed like a pope...? Eh, at least it doesn't reveal what the ACTUAL micro-game is.
Basic complaint in a nutshell, I see. Eh, it's not like I'm new to anything of that caliber. Then again, I do have a despise to people; more specifically, the people that somehow act like toddlers. Don't believe me? ...I cringed at nearly every comment Prosafia received on one of his other videos that were just people typing gibberish that puts my own intelligence and dignity to shame as well as one letter comments that just urges me to tell those "toddlers" to absolutely PISS OFF!
Nathan the Star Ally Oh I believe you. Every time I see a comment like this on his videos: (Insert name here) ProsafiaGaming hskdhebsksndb I always be thinking, "Why are there so many babies in this chat? Who left there devices around their kids?!"
And even then she still makes games for him XD Well now they got their pay, but they will still make games for him despite knowing he'll try to cheat them out because they're just nice people.
+Great Juice Actually, if you played Wario Interrupts, you'd know that he does that to hide the icon that tells you if you have to mash, touch, or twist.
Reminder that his crown is not a magical artifact and those powers are Wario's. Well he was introduced as a powerful wizard in his first game so it isn't that far off honestly.
Hey, did anyone else notice the text-flicker at around 8:57? It very quickly switched from [ignoring Wario] to [indistinguishable chatter]. It only happens for a frame, though. You can only just see it at quater speed.
I thought when I first saw the gold thing, that Wario would sell it, then I thought it was useless when he just said it would spruce up his place and now it’s a godmode machine! What do you want me to believe, Nintendo?
The Fort Some random youtube cartoon I watched because I have to much time on my hands. Its called mecard. The voice actor plays a character called Dabi.
The fact that wario realized he was wearing a potty on his head and just laughed it off really makes you think that either he has enough self respect to just laugh of his foolishness, or that he’s probably been rolling around in worse that it doesn’t seem to matter to him. Either was, wario was wearing a latrine on his head, and that’s something you can’t really unsee.
This is the first time I've heard Wario speak in the game. In other words the voice of him reciting the script with style! That's what I'd like to hear in a SUPER MARIO game.
Just like Wario in most of the past WarioWare games, he never plans to share his pay to his "chumps" who helped him succeed his plans of earning money fast.
Not to diss the other WarioWares (because they're masterpieces) but this is the first WarioWare game to have a final boss that felt... well, final boss-y. Sure, Wario Man may be cool as hell, but the "fight" with Wario Deluxe is actually really climactic (not counting the underwhelming reveal of Lulu's backstory)
Ladies and Gentlemen.. LET’S DANCING!!! God I love that intentional Engrish. The final microgame is like Wario De Mambo advanced. This looks like a fantastic finale.
Lol, something about 7:20 is just so funny, as if seeing a big guy like Wario get taken down by a little girl wasn't embarrassing enough, he get's hosed down with a squirt-gun like a bad dog for stealing a toilet and not handing it over. It's so pathetic, that it's funny and that's one of the reasons I think this game is great.
Could you stop using spoiler as thumbnails ?! Especially that the game isn't even out yet... At least make a "Spoiler" sign that cover the thumbnail....
If Waluigi is in this game... Wario: That's it. Game over. Go home! Go away! You bother me. Waluigi: Yes! Let's go home, Wario! 9-volt: Hold on, you two! Wario: Eh? Waluigi: Wah? Mona: Uh, you were planning on paying us... right, Wario and Waluigi? Dribble: C'mon, where's our cut? Penny: We just want our share. Wario: Umm... Fat chance! This money is ours! Waluigi: You know what? There's no money to give it to you! Red: Hey! Wario: Ahahahahaha! Ouch! Ashley: That was easy! Master Mantis: Now, Cricket! Cricket: I'm on it! Ha! Precious prancing pounce! Wario: Ah... Let go! ×3 Waluigi: Ah... Help! 5-volt: Oh, quit faking. You'll be fine! Spitz: Look! It's so shiny! 18-volt: Don't you know stealing's wrong? Kat: So is that all we made? Ana: Oh no! I think they spent all the rest! Wario: Ah... Hey! Balloons aren't cheap! Now give that back! Waluigi: Hey! I really have to share that momey with Wario, not with you! Jimmy T: We all get a cut, Bro. Orbulon: Yes, bro. We'll compensate you, too. Crygor: Now let's split it up equally. [Indistinguish Chatter] Wario: Er... stop that now! No splitting! Waluigi: Hey! Return our money! [Ignoring Wario and Waluigi] Wario & Waluigi: You hear me? This cash is ours! It's ours! Ours! WARIO BROTHERS!!!!!!
Hahaha I could never win, cause the LAST MINIGAME NEEDED MY MIC. It's music based, and my 3ds needs headphones to make sound. But my headphones speaker doesn't work, soooo, yeah. I needed both and could only have one. I have better headphones now, I'll try again soon. God I just LOVE this boss.
6:46 - 6:52 (Wear your headphones and set it carefully until the character's voice is low volume and you only can hear the guitar on the music) The best ending music ever!
I first heard Orb's new voice in this video and when I first heard him talk I was sorta sad because I wanted him to have a voice like his old monotone voices. But now I love his new voice so much IT'S SO CUTE
