Insane, I couldnt make the jump to the weird ledge to reset aggro behind the pillar (don't know if it works for non Gnome warlocks) but now by seeing this im gladful to find it, thanks
Did something change? Every time I try Alzzin, I do it perfectly, but the imps end up aggroing spellcaster plants and bringing them to the fight too, and they kill me before I can get to the reset ledge and drink my potion. Anyone else have this issue?
I'm using bartender, quartz (cast bar), details (damage and threat meter), trinket menu, bagnon, omniCC, necrosis, and a dungeon timer addon (forget the name). I use a 3x3 button mouse, so that's why you have the 3x3 bars (normal, shift, ctrl, alt modifiers). It's made by PICTEK, w/ the following model#: YTGEPC217AB-USAA2. Amazing mouse for only 30 dollars. I highly recommend it.
Absolutely. There is no spec or gear requirement for this if played properly. Soul link is going to be a lot easier than many specs because of demonic sacrifice.
When the imps come out, you want to let them gather up along with the boss at max range by jumping back and forth between the low and high ground (rock and ledge) for a bit (~5-10 seconds). When Alzzin shifts to a safe form (wolf or tree), let the imps and Alzzin run towards you along the high ground. Stand as far back along the ledge as possible and face the imps. Let the imps run all the way to you and before strafing off the edge so as to not get dazed when they hit you, as you run to the reset spot. If you do this correctly, 95% of the time you wont have this issue. The other 5% of the time, you simply wait for Alzzin to go to the center and then strafe from the reset location back to the rock you use while fighting him and try the process again. The imps will be hitting you, but you won't get dazed if done correctly and Alzzin will not pull. I've never had to do this more than once in a given run.
The key is controlling the boss' positioning at near max range by using the ledge and the low ground. If he does manage to start casting, you try and juke it by quickly running away a couple yards along the ledge. In the video, I am successfully able to keep him from trying to cast by max ranging the majority of the time, and when he does go for a debuff, I am able to juke it.
This is a decent farm but you should put wiping, shard farming, and invis pots into consideration. It seems that they may have changed zevrim because sometimes he runs straight to you while on the wall. I think just kiting him in hyros area is much more time efficient because I get sacrificed a lot up stairs.
Zevrim has not changed. He can glitch out and attack you through the pillar if you let him get too close or if you hug the wall way too long. You should try to keep him between 50% and 90% max range. As far as wiping, when you become skilled at this farm, you will almost never die, and if so you'll have soulstone up anyway. This farm is shard positive if you simply drain soul on the satyrs and Zevrim (can be a little tricky, but I haven't had an issue with it). I actually use DME to farm soulshards for raid. Invis pots are #worth. I don't think i make any claims about the gold/hr of this farm in the video, but if I did, i would definitely include them.
You can use the enslaved satyrs to fight Zevrim, or if you run into another satyr after enslaving the first, you can have them kill each other. When using the enslaved satyr on Zevrim, you need to be mindful to not let it get too close to the hell caller pack in the back of Zevrim's room because it will pull and attack you. It's not a death sentence, but it is dangerous and takes a lot of time to clean up everything.
thecsslife Depends on how good you are at tribute. Tribute is more consistent but east has higher potential considering crystals are averaging 50-60g or more on most servers
Also dude, you can solo DME as a hunter WAY faster. You can even kill hydro spawn if you want and still do it fast enough. Because you don’t even need to do the reset trick he’s doing, you can just feign death and invis pot it’s so good. Look up videos on hunter DME solo
When you run past the rich thorium nodes and leave dire maul east, you will travel through a tunnel that brings you back to the Dire Maul courtyard, right next to the DME entrance. There's no need to reset while inside the instance. You just reset once you leave, and run back to the entrance.
Any tips on what to do if you die at the last step? Is there any way to salvage the run and still get the thorium nodes without having to kill everything there? Perhaps try sending your imp down to pull the adds, wait up on top till the imps are all the way up there, reset and jump down? That'S what I would try first I think. Unless instead of running back they do the glitch teleport thing and are back instantly, that would suck.
Depends on your professions and what the prices are like on your server. Right now, arcane crystals are 50 g+ on my server with BWL approaching. I am running engineering and mining. If you have mining + herb, you would be able to make 80+ gold/hr. If you have mining + enchanting, you will make around 70-80 g/hr. If you have just mining, you will probably get 60-70 g/hr. I know there are videos that say 100+ g/hr, but my experience is that these are inflated by not taking into account costs (1-2g per lesser invis potion primarily) and loss of time (death, imps bugging, etc.).
@@murkedgaming2371 From my limited testing on gehennas (big server) - inflated prices. Enchanting is WAY better than herb could ever be in dme, by far. Herbing only nets you 3-5g per run at MOST. a bop green from boss can turn into greater w/e essence thats worth 6.5g, even had a green turn into 2 of those effectively turning 1g into 16g from 1 click. all drops except 2 are worth DE'ing also so its worth it. lvl 1 enchanting requirement.
I would be surprised if you could, but I am not going to say that it is impossible. The boss fights would be possible in my opinion with good technique, however the stealthed satyrs are going to eat your lunch. It would be a total pain to deal with them. Also, the large aggro radius might become an issue while running past mobs.
Even if you could, there's no real point. Just get 60 and a bit of gear to make your life easier. He says there is no gear requirement, but obviously the more geared you are, the faster you kill things/the less you have to drink.
I did this right after DM release and was pretty successful, doing around 80g/hour. Today I made 40 runs and got a single Arcane Crystal. I think they nerfed the drop rate (in DM:E only).
@@markxv2267 you really think blizard would nerf that little detail, they can even fix major problems in their company let alone nerf DMe thoriums lol,its not nerfed,i do it every day and get 1/2 crystals per hour on average
@@markxv2267 I got lucky recently (1-2 weeks ago) and got 3 crystals in 2 runs. If they nerfed it, my luck would have been even more astronomical than it already was, so I do not really think that is the case
