Everyone needs to chill the f out with judging specs for DF during prepatch. We still have covenants, legendaries, soulbinds and conduits active which gives us WAY more power and a total unrealistic picture of what's actually good/bad right now. CHILL. OUT.

@@lookherelooklisten3078 yeaaahhh...the early balancing is looking horrific and I say this having every class ready to go. I can play any class but I still hate this imbalance. Have to always remember it's still Activision no matter how many promises they make. They had people mega hyped over Shadowlands too and all the previews looked great for that as well. I didn't fall for it then and I'm not falling for it now. If it's good it's good and I'll play. Expectations practically zero.

I still haven't bought the expansion because I wonder if I can even be bothered. I enjoy Wrath. Streamers are just promoting this expansion like they always do. They make it look so fun, until you try it yourself and you realise that it is all just a big mess with a zug zug button and a panic button.
the only way to bring a lock down is by not going all out on them, they got like 3 spells that they get reduced damaged and immune to interruptions. you gotta play around with a lock for a bit until he is vunerable and has no more surviving spells
Amp curse non-crit only works on melee abilities. Tried it on a destro lock and CBs still crit. Same with fire mage's combustions. Edit: Also WW monk damage right now is primarily from the pet crits so amp+weakness on them is "almost" useless.

The Warlock green fire quests have a part where you ask your pets about it. Tome of Xerrath, started by the Sealed tome of the lost legion. You can find that item from Isle of Thunder rares
Warlocks remind me of Spriest during the SL pre patch. Void Torrent was so busted and it refreshed all DoTs on our target. So you just do a full rotation and then activate the Death Star laser. I was in BFA greens melting everyone and everything. That got nerfed 2 weeks later haha. So it is possible we could see some pre patch nerfs.
@@ryangallegos3218 I actually have not tried them yet. My Spriest been on the shelf since 9.1. Took a big break last summer into this summer. On the rogue train right now. Maybe I will dust him off this weekend.

@@shaneb1203 Yeah I dunno man, I tried it and it feels really good to play lots of procs and just overall fun, but the damage just isnt there compared to other classes, very underwhelming outside of the one void channel spell that hits really hard.
Ngl whenever I see someone play Warlock it looks like a completely different game. Never touched a Warlock in my life so I have 0 clue what their abilities are or look like. Looks like a movie scene when some high intellect wizards are fighting each other and its cool af :D
endorsing a soul swap nerf is the worst mechanic you could nerf for aff. one of the things aff has been asking for since wod. it's a welcome mechanical change.
I remember loving it in MoP. It was so cool just double tapping soul swap to get full duration dots and then spreading it around to whole team. What wasn't cool in MoP tho..
I really hope they dont hotfix nerf all this. It feels like you are doing insane with this due to your gear scaling as a late game equipped player at max level. I say wait until we hit max level.
i'm surprised more people arent enjoying necrolord destruction warlocks. they are the real mvp and nobody realizes it. with burn to ashes talent and decimating bolt. im landing 60-80k crits. i hit a dk for 92k. let that sink in. 92k crit in arenas. and this is only temporary as decimating bolt isnt available in the talent trees. enjoy it now while it lasts. decimating bolt is going away with expansion launch lol
makes no sense to balance asses for shadowlands seeing as how we're going into DF. not to mention classes are still being held up by soulbinds and covenants.
Locks are being 1 shotted in arena by 1 melee (Windwalker, Ret, DK), let alone 2 melee. You say it needs a nerf cause you defeated random people at 1466 rating? I know you need views, but come on, don't make this disservice to lock players.
Bro, Warlock is my main, been playing Destro for the last 3 years. It's true they need nerf, especially Affli but also Destro. Be objective they are broken af.
@@vankhorne Let's start with warlock talent tree: you can play with dark pact (30 sec cd), demon skin and fel armor at the same time + a full health recovery healthstone making the class a literal tank. And we also have mortal coil and our usual infinite CCs Destro talent tree: you can hit for 100k+ damage 3 times in a row every 45 secs with incinerates, yes you read right, 100k+ lmao. Go try man, i'm winning several 1v2 arenas with my destro rn and I am not a great player (my best is 1800). Affli talent tree: well basically it's the same Soul Rot + Drain life build with additional talents to make it even stronger. Playing against Affli is a pain in the ass in both bgs and arenas. As a warlock player i must say warlocks are broken af right now.
@@DariussXXIX Warlocks have the record of being squishy and the biggest target to mongo melee players that tunnel vision the Lock 24/7. Even with said talents, Warlocks right now are being killed in under 1 second against some melees. Healthstones usually can be used just once in an 3's Arena so it will not keep you alive vs said absurd melee damage. Now, about Incinerates: are you seriously talking about Incinerates that are being buffed by Decimating Bolt? You know this is being removed for next expansion, so it's a non factor.
Why are you trying to mislead and not uploading videos of your Rogue Subtlety? Maybe because it's broken and you're afraid of the nerf? Hahaha Subtlety is super broken. He heals like healer, infinite energy, and is your most playable class, but mysteriously you don't upload any videos about that.
Just give me MoP Second Wind version as an upgraded version either deep in the warrior or arms tree. Storm Wall combined with Die by the Sword is a good defense for some pve content, but in pvp its useless because no one attacks when the warrior has his swirling swords active. Storm Wall on its own would only be good if Arms would get the ability to parry/block attacks from player characters as something special to them as the masters of arms. That would be a random defensive depending in the amount of parry the warrior has. Not too shabby but also not op. Could be implemented as a pvp ability.
Hard to kill a warrior because of a passive heal = nerf after a week Nearly impossible to kill a warlock = gets more tanky than any Raid tank Blizzard ladies and gentlemen
Theyll wanna make affli lock the endboss bad guy in DF, so they have to juice em up some more. They were already op but not yet godzilla threat level yet.
People need to understand that Affliction locks are one of if not THE hardest classes to get really good at. Not everyone can top the meters as affliction because it’s too demanding to keep up with the constant dots on multiple enemies while not having any mobility (thanks to Shapeshift going out of the game) Every other class has amazing escapes. Warlock has what? A portal and gateway that they need to stay near? And burning rush that does damage to them overtime? All the salty fucks that cry about warlock damage dont have a clue how they play - they’re basically the refrigerators of all casters. It’s impossible to kite with how mobile everyone is WW, DH, Warrior, Feral, and now Evoker. The reason they deal so much damage and have higher health pools is to compensate the lack of mobility and the nature of a ROTstyle character. Don’t get me wrong a GOOD lock can deal with all that, but it’s more pressure to deal with than just a casual player can deal with imo
Healers should not be able to heal through warlock damage...seems fair...especially when they stand in the middle of the arena thinking they are invincible!
