Helion and Dawn Chorus go hard. Add the fragments that gives melee energy when killing scorched targets, and getting rift energy whwn scorching stuff, a incandescent weapon, and you are set

I am doing this a lot with solar titan and hazardous propulsion. Been rocking dragon's breath + hazardous already. Its going to be so fun with the ignition buffs tomorrow 😊

as someone who sucks at sniper rifles, im locked in on the 4th column only for the new perks lol

I actually came up with a version of my own this weekend lol. Did hellion and incendiary grenades, with a crafted adhorative with heal clip and incandescent. Basically play floor is lava with the enemies.

Chorus has been the goat for years. Dragon’s Breath is the cherry on top

I used something like this all week for the grandmaster nightfall. Would routinely end the mission with nearly 200 kills and never ran out of ammo. No well or song of flame. Hellion makes the neutral game so good and the right fragments/mods allow it to practically never end. So much fun.

Honestly the song of flame Grenades don't really add up that much damage. With the new artifact mods, a more optimal rotation will probably just be spamming finger snaps and doing your weapon rotations. You'll get a longer uptime on Song of Flame for the DR and scorching rounds and more overall damage.

I’ve been running this setup basically interchanging heal grenades and fusion grenades depending on what im doing and i slap on hellion for extra scorch

Ive been running this build since Season of the Wish. Thing was busted then but even moreso now! Youve shared a walking reactor meltdown :D

dawn chorus dragons breath has been one of my favorite combos since season of the wish started. I myself use it with a supremeacy with rewind and bait, and a pluse with heal clip incan for pretty much all things covered.

Don't forget that in prismatic using your transcendance before super makes this build even more potent you can also use hellion but I think it's over kill

I got an OG ikelos sniper with triple tap and high impact reserves perk I think it is, still holds up pretty decent

I was putting up 1.7mil per phase last week without chorus only using dragons breath and song of flame on the other in grasp. Never tested it with chorus. I'll have to see how much more I get out of that. I can't stand snipers.

iirc the last "solar gun" apllies scorch (while radiant or smth else) had something that made it not apply any scorch if the target already had anyeven a single stack; i dont expect every shot to cause ignitions

My main warlock build is mantle of battle harmony with song of flame on prismatic with dragon's breath, and you're telling me it's going to be better? I swear I get like 5-6 supers in a solo nightfall if I'm using them whenever I can. Crazy.

As much as i love d breath and i like the idea of this rotation i still dont think dawn chorus is worth in comparision to nova bomb, the amount insant damage nova bomb outputs and the fact you get weaken id say out-damages solar on dawn chorus

Been meta for a while people were just spamming sun racers so no one could really tell. Pre TFS this was one of my favorite exotics to run on solar and now we get a rocket side arm so it’s gonna be even better.

I tried to grind an Uzume, best roll is 7 in mag (backup) with FTTC + Deconstruct, so guess i'll never have to reload but no dmg buff. Bought Luna Regolith III from Zavala, first roll was Triple Tap + Precision Instrument with 5 in mag (backup), so it will shot 7 with TT.

Chorus and fragons breath single handedly carried me through legend Lightfall and The Final Shape. That combo is so disgusting.

I was gonna use ikelos but then I got a 4th/precision and 4th/vorpal on Uzume so I'm real excited to use that! I haven't touched a build other than prismatic in a min but I made 2 full solar warlock build today that I'm hyped for! Might do a hunter one to later

Don't forget about the long walk from the old prophecy weapons if you have one!

This was my build last episode, just with the ritual SMG and the legendary witherhorde. that and I used hellion icarus dash

If your on prismatic you could run void weakening grenades pop transcendence throw a grenade the pop your super then go crazy DPS

Watching your other video 'Everything You Have Ever Wanted To Know About Scorch', you say that if you apply scorch with dawn chorus, then when other players add scorch stacks, that damage gets buffed by the original damage source's multipliers. Is there a way to take advantage of this in a team situation? Like, is there a way to ensure that one player is always the first to apply scorch after an ignition so that their Dawn Chorus multiplies all the other players' damage?

Why would I use Vorpal instead of precision instrument on uzume?

In a group setting of multiple warlocks, 1 person can be on this and others on parasite +solar holster. Ive been using this sniper with parasite for high total dmg bosses like hefnds vengeance and if I feel spicy, the witness, for a while now.

i recently did warlords ruin solo run and was spamming dragons breath/song of flames/dawn chorus on prismatic and gotta say it deals a ton

If you can get that new sniper rifle Domino, I think it can run with incandescent

Prismatic would be much better with void and weaken..

Hey tizzle, as a longtime destiny player and long time subscriber here , I always appreciate your takes when it comes to what weapons and perks to run however I am curious as to why you prefer focused fury over high impact reserves on the ikelos SR? HIR gets a large bonus when the perk becomes enhanced compared to FF (can proc on 75% of the mag vs 50%)

Luna Regolith 3 is high impact solar legendary that can roll clown and firing line

Genuine question. Obviously rapid fires are gonna be best for dps but is the ikelos sniper with focused fury gonna be better than the clown firing line distant tumulus ? I have both but the ikelos is craftable

Ergo sum with vortex and 5th times perk + dawn chorus is the highest sword dps in the game

just use star-eater nova bomb with edge Transit lol

FF is one of the worst perks you could have on a dps weapon for a DBreath dps combo. You lose FF when you swap so you're never going to maintain that perk

What would be the absolute god roll of a sniper? Is Twilight Oath, or Luna Regolith good?

You could've done more with Transcendence if you had actually used it for the damage buff

Does anyone else feel like Chorus is mid as hell 😭 idk I've never liked it. scorch itself doesn't feel impactful and triple damage doesn't change that for me, nor do the melee gains on a class not known for its melee abilities. maybe I'm just outta touch or missing something

Tizzle, have you tried this on witness at all yet? I actually used this exact setup before the artifact mods were added just to see, and I wasn’t getting the ignition reload procs on DB, so my overall damage was pretty bad because I had to manually reload. Just curious if I did something wrong or if ignition are weird with the witness.

so is dawn chorus used for the melee cooldown? i use it for the daybreak super and barely notice the increased scorch damage except it might kill some thrall in a gm or something

I hope they end up giving hunters a super they would get forced on for every dps which helps everyone else so they have to suffer instead of warlocks, something like an icy dome like a large dusk field which has flying daggers around the outer ring which blocks 50% of projectiles being shot at your and gives you a little resist but a damage increase matching radiant so it’s just as good or better than well so they have to use it, then titans should have a stasis super which is like throwing a diamond lance which freezes targets near its landing location (or slows if the freeze is too much) and makes a huge stasis crystal which will shatter and do huge amounts of damage in an area when the titan shoots it or it hits a boss/mini boss/ champion so it’s a dps option too, then warlocks I haven’t thought about a stasis super for them yet because this was meant to be a rant about hunters getting to dps without ever helping the team (and usually jumping/dodging in front of your heavy and killing you)

Daybreak is honestly a very competent damage super with Dawn chorus. Not sure how it measures up against stareater nova or song of flame, but pre final shape it was hitting near 800k total damage
