@@jessespencer1019It can't be a prequel bc Scabrous Scrotus (Immortan Joes son) had already inherited Immortan Joe's empire, and dies by the end. That wouldn't work with the movie timeline, it would only make sense for it to happen after the movies
@@Sacr3dHam no. Considering scrotus isnt in fury road at all. Only time you see him is the game and in furiosa. According to George Miller, thunder dome happened before fury road

@@jessespencer1019 Actually, it does make sense that Joe would've given Gas Town to Scrotus, and upon his death at the hands of Max, transfered Gas Towns power to the people eater. So it actually does make some sense for the game to take place after Furiosa but before Fury Road. Fair enough
I’m honestly going to give it the benefit of the doubt, I don’t expect to like it as much as fury road but that film was so surprisingly amazing I don’t think any spin off could match it, especially in scope or technical ability…..But (and I don’t blame people for not feeling the same) I would still enjoy seeing more of the mad max universe even if it isn’t the movie I’d personally would have liked

While it looks a little CGI heavy... any exploration of the awesome Max Max universe ( especially the characters in Fury Road) is very welcome in my book... + Dementus could be an upstart son of Immortal Joe... a threat to Joe's Power... that's why he is given missions to explore the wasteland for new resources...
I was perfectly fine with the switch. I wouldn’t have been able to watch this movie with Charlize. Now that Charlize groms little boys into girls. Wearing dresses and makeup. It’s an abomination.
I can’t wait to watch it in theaters. My biggest regret with fury road was that I didn’t get to see it in the big screen with surround sound. This looks like it’ll be even better than the last one.
@@KCwalksabout ya, looked into it, got him confused with joes son from the game. Also noticed the game is only like 20% cannon that was edited. Like they changed up hope n glory, an added all kinds of mad max stuff miller hasnt used. Be nice if someone bought the rights to the game and rework the story etc to make it cannon,and add in thunder dome, road warrior etc, as well as motorcycles etc. If they did that n kept game play the same, add in a create youre own character for online sandbox similar to gta online, it would literally be best game ever made

So some of the game does actually tie in with the movies. Hoping to god max shows up. An easter egg for ya. The whistle furiosa uses in the movie is same whistle max used in thunder dome

Scrotus is in the movie. AND YES MAX IS IN THE MOVIE!!!!!! Looking at him right now, leaning on the interceptor atop a cliff watching furiosa walk through the desert at the 1:51:01 mark in the movie. Oh n dementus has a little teddy bear that looks exactly like the teddy bear the little girl had in the game. So, maybe they are reworking the game, and maybe im right and humungus is maxs captain like ive said. Its interesting seeing how everything tiying together with this movie. This movie is definitely fit for the mad max universe 👍👍
