More ongoing commission work for customer Noel, this will be 12 regiments of foot so far! I have established a good fast method now for painting these and I share a few tips and ideas, especially around basing those pesky individual pikemen.

lovely work , may i ask what colour you use for the belts?

Thank you Glen :) I use Vallejo Flat Earth base then highlight with Vallejo 'WW2Japanese Uniform' which is a dark buff like colour and about right for the period I think? It's an odd sounding colour but really useful as covers really well even over black, and is also a great colour as a base for yellow. Cheers, Lee.
