9fionaa I love Mass effect and it's soundtrack but they are overrated by most people, it's not so good in most part but it had some glorious moments. Blizzard makes incredible soundtrack for every game, i spent my childhood listening to warhammer's Blizzard's and Metal Gear's soundtracks they are remembered as for Mass Effect... not so much.
Best song in all my time playing WoW (from vanilla to WoD) made even more bittersweet now, knowing the musical and storyboard talent are wasted on a company that’s arguably had one of the biggest falls from grace I can remember (even more so than EA and that’s a fucking hold my beer moment) Come back old Blizzard you are missed.
@@Samar3n I'm so glad the old blizzard is dead and gone, all those execs who hid the allegations are gone now. DF is the best thing they've ever released by a mile and the company is in much better shape.
I forgot i actually used to like WOW until I heard this playing in the background of the madseason documentary about WOW, and I forgot how much I used ot listen to this or that I ever even liked that game. SL killed it dead for me forever. Fuck DF
@@ExcyWoW Sure w/e too bad everybody I know quit the game in SL and will never play it again;, thx Blizz for the great new expansion too little too late
That last stand holding the horde at the bridge and 1:40 kicks in along with some shaman casting heroism. That was such a comeback. Moments you play wow for.
2:29, what at freaking awesome choir!! It gave me chills! That's the very apex of this music to me!! I'm horde actually, but I gotta admit, u guys got a hell of a soundtrack!
Warlords of Draenor had the potential to be the best expansion ever made... unfortunately that wasn't the case. However, the music that's in WOD is among the best that's ever been made in any game ever. This is so fucking amazing.
@@sherlickho not daily, but still enjoying whenever I hear. I parked my mage at Stormshield for levelling through Wod TW dungs. So I hear it a lot these days again :)
The forces of Azeroth arrived in a strange yet familiar world and are forced to carve out strongpoints before their adversaries overwhelm them. Amazing how music can paint pictures.
Besides doing some work for Caverns of Time in BC and some work in MoP, I believe this was Jason Hayes first full track since Vanilla (if you don't know, most of the Vanilla soundtrack was created by Jason Hayes). Awesome!!
Yes. He has done some, but Jason has a lot of bangers in the WoW OST and is definitely my favourite game composer. He made Stormwind theme which part of you can hear here, he made OG Arthas theme (in Wc3), which later for adapted into WotLK cinematic and Invincible and many more.
For me, it was always just not having to share a faction with the friggin undead (I despise undead in most settings). Edit: Fine, they also were the only faction with elves at the time.
I envision an epic view on top of a mountain with your character overlooking the construction of the garrison with wind blowing in their hair; similar to the Conan, recovery scene. That is what I think about when I here this song. One of the best things about the garrisons.
I have to admit it, the wod quest chain intro is one of the bests, at the last moment when you have to flee with khadgar and the others to the boats is my most epic moment in wow, too bad the expansión was badly executed
weird comment but i really miss wow as someone who played from vanilla and at least follow the story. I think after all this time I won't play wow ever. I played this game since 2004 and i really miss the feeling. I hope another game give me same feeling
Frozen storm Like I said, I know it's nonsense syllables, but I still want to be able to see the actual nonsense syllables. :-) (Some of the earlier music has been published through Hal Leonard; maybe we'll eventually see a full choral arrangement release. I imagine there's not a few community and college choirs that would like to perform this, or orchestras looking at this for pops concerts.)

Long reign the seven kingdoms of Azeroth! May Stormwind, Gilneas, Lordaeron, Dalaran, Alterac, and Kul Tiras one day stand once again reunited as one - FOR THE ALLIANCE! :)
The name is from the OST, as for the meaning I think it played in Ashran when the Horde(wolf) captures the last objective before going into the Alliance base.
It could also mean varian wrynn's demise Since anduin calls the dark portal entrance "Hell gates" or something like that AND they call varian "wolf" sometimes
The "Wolf" is most likely referring to Varian Wrynn, it's one of his titles. Also, this track has similarities with the Stormwind music, so it's most likely Varian.
@@slinttu1378 The frostwolf clan is also the main horde faction on Draenor and the clan of thrall. I agree that it is likely to refer to Varian since wolf is singular, but he doesn't play a big part in WoD and he isn't in Ashran at all. I don't know when this music plays in the garrison since I played as Horde in WoD and the only place I heard it was in Ashran. If it plays when Varian visits the Garrison then it would most likely refer to him.
While I prefer my horde garrison, it just has iron horde music, this music rocks, a shame even blizzard forgot difference between our factions so didn't make music for just us.
Approximated nonsense lyrics, 1:40 to 2:40. Good enough to sing along. Ire savatuus sadahi Fadahi ra pisiin Avese cuha cudahusa Iho sadahi keredo x4 Ire, tuus sadahi Fahida, husa Nore, siin fadahiido, sa kuriviis Ire, tuus sadahi, fa kereda
i have the jukebox and this tune doesnt play anymore . the default garrison theme is crap Can someone tell me how can i enable this song again .....i am desperate :(
WoD was never bad, just didn't have enough content, however I'll say WoD was the most alt friendly expac ever, I leveled so many alts and it was so much fun I miss it.
+THEGEARCRAFT The language they are speaking is 'Common' the language spoken by alliance. Not a real language, per se, but it has been translated from english.
@@billoverbeck3784 Jason Hayes, who is the composer, said he and Glenn Stafford (another composer) had a great time coming up with the lyrics, so i'm assuming they are real.
I am still salty as fuck they gave the alliance an epic soundtrack and gorgeous garrison in the best looking WoD zone. Horde get generic trash in some snowy foggy wasteland with mudhuts and sticks despite having elves, goblins, and forsaken that could make much better buildings.
