"They said I must answer for my crimes... repent for my sins. But every choice I made, I will proudly make again" No regrets, best Horde character right there.
“I submit to no one! Not you, not The Jailer, and not that coward Thrall! FOR THE HORDE!!!” Like him or not you can’t deny his conviction. A final RIP to the most badass warchief.
bonchbonch Really are you 12? There is no good or bad. Characters like in life are complex, sometimes can't act wrong or right (to some eyes)... In W3 they made the characters complex and with some depth.
Hearing this theme at the end of Dark Portal questline, just as i was fleeing for my life toward the docks along with some of Azeroth's bravest heroes, the Iron Horde right on our tail and Grommash... in a threatening voice, screaming from behind us, made the whole experience a thousand times more epic.
I was ready to face Grommash with Thrall, and our allies but goddamn...I was too scared. Grommash IS that powerful warlord. His thousand yard stare can send the chill down your spine letting you know that he is not afraid of anything. Well done Blizzard.
I know the exact moment, as the iron horde fires cannons upon you, and you make a mad last ditch effort to the docks one of the finest moments in any video game ever.
That one is my favorite wod moment no doubt! When you fire the cannon ... this music starts playing and evryones like “shit we gotta run they are ALL coming for us” with hellscream telling us this is HIS WORLD! and you could not mount! Idk that moment was so epic
The cinematic gave me chills. "This is not our destiny...Times change..." And then that epic shot of the dark portal being constructed after "But we will be conquerors."
Bison Zubr unlike the wotlk cinematic when i was really disapointed...instead of showing arthas's full image and make it longer, they show us dragon sindragosa for half of the time and havent seen arthas full body or frostmourne in action...
Oh shit, hahahah. Was looking for music for my DnD session, checked the comments and found you, Hean. Hello there, blue bird xD A suprise, but a welcome one. If you see this reply - hope you're doing alright. (And if you have a hard time remembering - I used to hang around with you, Ley and CC in VRC about 2 years ago). Anywho, on to the next OST. Take care o/ P.S. A mighty piece of music indeed o7 Absolutely love it to this day
@@taleteller8187 Ohey bud :> Yeah, you'll find some 15+ year old comments around on RU-vid videos from me if you look around :'> Don't worry I haven't forgotten you!
Sounds just so mighty and heroic, but also has those very dark, 'capable of horrendous evils and atrocities' underpinnings to it. Totally hit the mark!
Well, I listened to all songs from MOP and WOD, and they didn't appeal me for long, so I played most of the time with music off. Now if I go to Azeroth or Northrend I turn it on again. Anyway I unsubscribed retail. :P
You missed out the Ulduar-Antechamber theme, remains an epic on itself. They even made the Grim-batol theme fróm that. And the Alysrazor-theme is still quite enticing too :)
Wtf are fucking saying... more than The Lich King??? The Lich King cinematic, expansion and yea Music, was far best of the entire game. Wow have never had so much players in Wrath of The Lich King
Brilliant piece of music, feels almost haunting in places and filled with sorrow, yet when it builds up you can feel hatred and anger, cannot wait for this expansion!
Gauthier Schnorkzuc me too, looking forward to the live action movie, well the first trailer anyway, if the trailer does not look good then i will worry due to game adaptations in the past not being very good, I do hope they bring Blizz's orchestra for the score in the movie, we need the original sounds for it to be the movie of warcraft
I'm with you on that point, but I trust them for now because you can see there is a certain talent, especially in the last cinematic but you're right, most of the game adaptations sucked... Yes, if they are intelligent they will use the Blizz's orchestra for the score !
1:40 Archmage Khadgar: The docks...Run to the Docks. Run! RUN! Ga'nar: COME AT ME HELLSCREAM! Drak'thar: Don't be a fool, Ga'nar. Run! We will fight another day! Yrel: Look out! Keep moving. I see ships ahead. Maladaar: Where now? Maraad: Head for the ships at the end of the road. Archmage Khadgar: This way! Go! Go! Go! Grommash Hellscream: There is no place to run outsiders! This is MY world! We will find you! To be honest with you guys, I have never felt this scared before like the time the Lich King has launched Scourge attacks on Stormwind/Ogrimmar and facing the Lich King for the first time. Good job Blizzard! Keep up the good work. :)
Love how they used this theme for the Fel Lord fight, fit surprisingly well. "Corrupt souls are so easily harvested." "We will cleave your souls in twain."
+Ponyj0 Fel Lord Zakuun: "See how they struggle, not even their combined might will be enough to save you." Grommash Hellscream: "I will have your skull for my helm when I next face your foul Legion."
One of the truly underappreciated aspects of Warcraft is its music, which I think knocks it out of the park each and every expansion, from "Arthas, My Son" to "Grommash Hellscream", the epic quality of this music is beyond amazing.
mitrooper What I mean is that it never gets as much credit or acclaim as the cinematic, art, etc. Not to say it's not appreciated at all, but underappreciated by the masses? Yes.
It kinda just hit me how impactful a final boss Grom will be. Grom is the hero of the modern Horde. Grom is almost the main character of the orc campaign in Warcraft 3. In our timeline he was glorified, and now because of an alternate chain of events that would otherwise save (alternate) Azeroth, he is our enemy. He will be praised and hated at the same time.
Horangus Nope, Grom was confirmed by Blizz. Which sucks, because you'd think they'd have learned their lesson about spoiling the last boss with Garrosh.
Derek Gornall Haha, clueless minions ;) They said "Final boss Grommash", but then In another interview, that he will play a role in the last fight, So theories flourish around the fact that we'll be fighting a Kil'jaeden influenced Grommash, which will then lead to the final boss yet again, being Kil'jaeden. The exp after warlords is already obvious. it's a burning legion exp. There's just too much loose ends being "opened" on draenor, for blizz to not make the next exp be about the burning legion ;)
Exactly my feeling on it. Its right next to fighting Thrall. No spoilers, but from what Ive seen of WoD, I feel so bad for Garrosh. All the things he has done are horrible, but it all stems down to him wanting to live up to the name of his father.
Why nobody is able to understand? Garrosh NEVER changes history. He just went back and opened a gate... so it never changes the NOW. it's just like a timeline travel in a parallel universe.
I think this feeling of "drama" fits the character. Grom in the "main" timeline tried to redeem himself and achieved that redemption sacrificing his own life; "this" Grom is even more tragic in the end because, while the Grom of the main timeline got deceived by Gul'dan into be the first to drink the shit that would have condemned his whole race to damnation, here he got deceived by his very "alternate" son into following a foolish path of conquest and destruction, misguided into considering this the only way to be free and "never be slaves", convinction fueled by Garrosh's lies and mindtricks.
The whole story is tragic. Garrosh spent years fighting off oppression from the Ogres, making sure his clan was strong, capable of defending itself and never succumbing to another. Then comes a stranger in his midst, speaking of their future in willing submission, the elements himself show visions of what will come, enslaved by demons, prisoner of humans, dwarves and elves. The Orcs have spent their life battling attempts at subjugation, and now finally is the chance for them to stop this, by taking action first. What isn't explained to him, because of Garrosh's hatred and pride, is that the Alliance that imprison them, would not do so had they come peacefully. The Draenei would align with them to fight the Legion, had they chose to not attack. It has come to the point where Grommash believes the only way to save his people, is to wipe out every last threat that comes against them, and it is only now, in Hellfire Citadel, he is seeing the strength that comes in a united front of many races, one where his Warsong clan will not fight enemies alone, but will fight as part of the greatest force in history. And this force has Orcs that could use a Warchief with a bit of backbone.
Great song for great character. Grommash Hellscream and Garrosh Hellscream are my favourite characters in Warcraft universe. Warcraft III Reforged is coming out on January 28. and cant wait to sink my teeth into that masterpiece again.
What if at the end of WoD the legion force Grom to become some super corrupted orc, and we kick his ass until he regains his pure orcness (lulz) and then he helps us take out the legion, becoming a great hero and becoming the warchief, and the surviving iron horde come with him, making up for like 90% of the orc population that died in SoO, that way it will make every horde player feel better knowing that we won't kill grom :)
véry impressive themesong, 'Grommash realising the deceit from Gul'dan, satanding powerless when Kilrogg betrays his cause and turns to the Burning Legion... he realises all is lost, all is doomed.. everything... no.. he remembers his one true vow: WE WILL NÉVER BE SLAVES!.... Grommash will not bend to this, his Iron will is stronger then all the army's and forces of the Legion together, he WILL be the conqueror!
Yeah it would be pretty harsh on him, I have an idea that thrall sacrifices himself to save the orcs in some way which then convinces Grommash that he has chosen the wrong person to believe in, will never happen in the game, but thought it would be a great twist for thrall to do what Grom did in the previous timeline
Mike Mulock Well I don't want Thrall to die... but since Grommash saw/heard Thrall in the vision which is told in the short story Hellscream, let us hope this means something will happen between Grommash and Thrall. Some people hope at the end-boss with Grommash that he will only be defeated (like Garrosh) and then decides to join the Horde (and could become the new Orc Leader). In the story, Grommash doesn't really sound like the crazy kind of guy like Garrosh became, so I'd imagine he might turn good at the end... but we need to wait for that XD
***** I think Vol'jin deserves more respect than that. I think Grom will probably learn that not everything needs to be conquered, and will lead the orcs to a future of prosperity with the draenei. This will help their world stand against the Legion...you know with 2 raids to go, they're going to be back. Mannoroth's death got to them in our timeline, it'll do it here too.
Man that moment when doing the legendary quest line witb garona and then suddenly the cinematic plays... such a strong moment in wods story arc. A shame most people will not remember it for what it was.
