Warm Woolies Needed  

Hi Darcy! Love your new headband, I like the wide width, narrow ones always slip off my ears! It’s so relaxing watching you talk knitting ❤️ I am working on some mittens using some beautiful yarn that a friend gifted me, and I always have some socks going. Meditative knitting.

Hi Darcy! You are so creative & full of great yarnie ideas. I did not get an advents, but have been working on getting my own stash down. Right now I’ve been making hats & mittens, but after the holidays I will get back to trying to master sock knitting. Thank you for your lovely podcasts

Morning Darcy, your little Snowman ⛄️ is so cute. I hadn’t planned on any holiday knitting this year until I had a request from two of my grandchildren for some fingerless mitts. My hope is to make gifts throughout the year in 2024 and because I have lots and lots and lots of sock yarn, I’ll be making socks. Thanks you for all the inspiration you give. Enjoy all the knits 🧶

Hi Darcy, I love your new headband and cowl! That was a great idea to use the animals for an inspiration. I have gotten an advent, and Yes! I did peek! I couldn’t help it! So my advent knitting plans are to do a pair of stripey socks, add to my scrappy crochet blanket, and at least get started on the Confectionary cardigan. I also need to make a couple of baby hats for our new babies, and 1 more baby cardigan. Can I do it? I do love knitting but I don’t love stressful knitting. I think the hats will be quick and the cardigan should be too. Congratulations to the winners!!!!

Oh how I love the colors of that bag! I may have over done it with 4 self striping sock advents this year. I did peek on two, but one is a surprise for sure. I also ordered a 12 mini skein solstice countdown, that I’m keeping a surprise as well. I love opening something each day, especially little packages of yarn. 🧶

I dont have an advent but l am starting my last pair of DK gift socks. Then lm knitting a pair of socks and the Forest Paths hap in 4ply held with a strand of alpaca. I enjoyed your chat and lm so glad you came up in my feed. Big hugs from N Ireland

I didn't get an advent this year. I did get one a few years back (2020)... I did not peek! I enjoyed opening the new little packages each day. At the end of December, I stashed them away and didn't use them until 2022 in a Musselburgh Hat. I still have leftovers that I'm now using in a special scrappy granny blanket.

Hi Darcy! I was much more behaved on last years advent, I didn’t peak or anything. For this years swap, I not only peaked , I already knit a square on my mitered square blanket with an advent mini! I’m not even mad about it! I’m currently working on the Ore hat for the Irene Lin Kal. I’m really into making hats but I like making a double brim and closing the ends together for a neater look, in my opinion , which means it takes a bit longer to make. Great podcast! Take care! Rosy

I didn't order any Advent calendars this year, however I am participating in a swap😉 and I haven't peeked, but it's 9:08 and December 1st is only 3 hours away.

Hi Darcy, I just found your channel. Very pretty cowl, hat and scarf set. No advent for me but I have been gift knitting. Although so far the 2 pairs of Christmas socks I just finished I gifted to my husband and daughter so they could wear them all month 🎄😃. I have a knitted eagle I am working to finish and a couple of more pairs of socks. LOL and whatever else I can squeeze in. Take care and have a wonderful evening.

I have an advent calendar from Mystery Mouse Yarns with an Agatha Christie theme. I opened the box to put all the little packages in a basket, but haven’t peeked into any, though it was tempting to peek at the big skein for the 25th. It comes with a mystery pattern and part of the mystery is to guess which of her books it is based on. I can’t wait to start! I’m also trying to finish a sweater for my daughter for Christmas. Fortunately she’s quite thin, so not so far around the body. I like your wide headband. Looks like it will fit more like a hat and stay put.
