talking about warming water impacts all waters & life globally and it is important and ok to hint at that while still focusing on our Great Lakes region, they did not imply seals are native to the region, but also could of flashed native wildlife

I reached into a minnow bucket expecting a handful of minnows and a few of those things were in there too. I was 6 years old and I almost lost some skin getting my hand out of the bucket. 55 years old and I still won't touch one. And they are harmless except a tiny pinch.

You do not want to anything that lives in the Great Lakes now. Too polluted. Read: “Our Stolen Future.” Written by a research biologist whose job was to analyze the research done on the Great Lakes from many experiments and disciplines.

not the same kind of crayfish, there are hundreds of species. They are invasive because they eradicate native crayfish, are less tasty then native crayfish, and overpopulate which means they can eat too many water plants and stuff.

Rules are rules. Prosecution is always a good way to stop people from destroying our lakes. If there is no consequence people will keep doing it. I think only people that have lived there whole life on or with in 10 miles of the lakesore of any of our great lakes get this. Ohio is excluded from this because none of them care. They destroyed Lake Erie and now they think they can come to my town in northern Michigan and be complete assholes. How they think their entitled is beyond me.

Native Range: Currently, P. fallax f. virginalis is known only from aquariums and from its introduced range; an indigenous population has never been reported. However, it is reasonable to assume that the marbled crayfish originates from the indigenous range of its progenitor P. fallax, which comprises Florida and southern Georgia (Hobbs, 1989).

Are they good eating? This sounds like great news for people who love gumbo. Mmmmh, I love mussels, too. The pigs are a problem because pork is ok, but I don't think it's very healthy eating. We need to rekindle our relationship with wolves. They'll eat those, I think.
