these look like a very green solution for aquaponics agriculture. there are company's in Louisiana that pull tens of thousands of pounds of craw everyday. why are we not allowed to take advantage of the species and the good it can do

Yes! Marbled crayfish specifically are edible. Not sure on the taste I personally haven’t eaten any but I assume similar flavour to any shellfish.

I just had boiled crawfish yesterday, approx 5.00$ a pound, ate 2.5 lb by myself & still wanted more.
