A reminder of when buses were coach-painted so beautifully and the local company names and liveries complemented the area. Today, most buses are mobile eyesores with names devised by dopey marketing exeutives.
Unbelievable, all these old buses and coaches built here in Britain,we led the world in bus and coach production and now apart from Dennis Alexander I don’t think we manufacture a bus chassis anymore there all Scania,Volvo and various other foreign chassis manufacturers like our truck industry. DAF using the Leyland factory to assemble trucks that are owned by Paccar an American company, whatever happened to our manufacturing industries???. It’s no wonder this country is going down the drain.
