I feel a bit melancholy knowing how many we’ve lost from this wonderful cast. These films were the perfect storm of actors, sets, costumes and directors; not to mention the dazzling effects! These films are truly loved by all ages, which is something rare . They will live long through generations.
I'm trying to think of any recent ish type movie s where this many cast members died. There's a time line online that shows someone has died nearly every year since the movie started.
I love this place. I’m fortunate to live nearby and have friends that worked on the production in the SFX and props department, and it’s because of them that I have some amazing items used in the movies. So to see their work up close is amazing. One friend spent months building the gigantic Hogwarts model only for it to be replaced after 1 movie with a CGI version.

Great tour. It’s changed a lot since I last went. Just a note to anyone travelling any distance to get the tour. It’s not actually in London, it’s actually in Watford, Hertfordshire. It’s not far from London, but it is another train out to Watford and then a bus to get to it.
That did confuse me when they said london I started doubting myself 😂. It's actually in leavesden(10 mins from Watford) Hertfordshire. Train to Watford Junction Station from London
I was there on 3rd of September and I loved every second of it ! It was by far the highlight for me on my one week trip to London 🤩 love London! I‘m from Germany :)
@@Ewas77 we where there for 4 hours but we had to go because whe‘ve booked a bus shuttle and had to be out at a certain time :) but 4 hours are not enought, if you want to see every little detail you have to plan for one full day or at least 6 to 7 Hours ;)
Also! Seeing Snape and Slughorn in their potions element made me recall the first movie Snape, what he asked Harry about the asphodel, translates to “I bitterly regret Lily’s death” the entire movies and books he was looked at as a villain, just so sad Harry didn’t realize he was a hero until after his death!
This is amazing and when I went a few years ago, I disappeared to the toilet and reappeared in a witch outfit. My mum and my sister were a bit surprised to say the least.
I am beyond jealous that you got to do this. It is by far one of my bucket list things I want to do so bad. Even more so after going to universal in Orlando and doing the whole theme park of Harry Potter. If you haven't done it yet, you should do the Harry Potter store in New York City in the flatiron district. It is not a really big store, but it is so worth it.

My wife brought me here for my birthday earlier on this year and i have to say, it was one of the best experiences of my life. At the end of the tour when i walk around the model of the castle, i dont know what came over me, but i felt quite overwhelmed and actually had a tear in my eye. My wife laughed at me and i felt kinda silly. Stil dont know why i did that😂 Did you guys really like the butterbeer???? I thought it was awful😂😂 but you have to try it just for the experience, and the free cup😉

I visited Harry Potter world in 2021 with my wife and 2 kids they loved it but I myself have never watched a Harry Potter movie it was a great experience nonetheless . Glad you guys enjoyed it
I can't help think what kind of massive forethought someone had to save all of this. Like who knows if a movie is going to be this big? Back in the day alot of this would have been recycled for other movies or sold at auction. So cool 😍 I'm in awe!

wow blows me away to see the set of Harry Potter, with its beginning 2001 over a span of ten years, my daughter was a child those years we enjoyed the magic of it all, gonna watch all the movies again 🤩

Went there a few years ago. A lot of the stuff was all new and wasn't there when I went. We was there for hours looking at stuff and taking loads of photos. The tour package we got came with a collectors program but they ran out of the paperback ones that we were supposed to get and they gave us the deluxe hardback ones instead. Definitely worth visiting whether you're a Harry Potter fan or nor.

Fun fact the scenes of Harry's parents graves and hometown was based on a village near where I live called lavenham they got inspiration from the old buildings in lavenham
