We took our 1st @warnerhotel345 stay in September; a pleasant weeks stay at #Thoresbyhall As a trial to see if it was a reasonable alternative to cruising - there were many similarities; style of rooms, inclusive food, good entertainment, leisure facilities and activities + beautiful grounds and house. - AND for much less money 😀 = BUT certainly that hotel was looking tired and in need of TLC and a renovation of public rooms. Stained soft furnishings, holes in duct tapped carpets, worn out curtains in the hall. - AND they were acutely short of staff. Really affected the experience, which was OK; just! = the new owners seem to be concentrating £'s to 'new' hotels such as Heythrop Park and neglecting the established hotels, such as Thoresby Hall. Not wise or fair to their7 loyal customer base. = "the same as cruising?", kind of but ........ not really. #WarnerHotels #blackstoneInc #mywarnerstay
