I had one of the white cholesterol balls on my eyelid for at least 5 years. My right side where my liver is would ache sometimes and i would wake up soaked in sweat in the night. I quit drinking 3 weeks ago and only eat homemade meals of organic fruits and vegatables. Also grass fed beef liver, sardines in olive oil, organic pasture fed chicken eggs, you get the point. And im in bed between 9 and 9:30pm and im out of bed at 4am fully charged. I noticed 2 nights ago the spot on my eye is gone. Im never having another alcohol drink for as long as i live. Im 42.

My first husband died 1 month shy of his 46th bday. He drank rot gut whiskey 1-2x a week and smoked 2 pks of cigs/day. Our grown son has been sober for over a year and is thankful for having that alcohol yoke removed. Every day he would see that daily count of freedom increase and didn't want to see that number start back to zero. I'm glad you got away from it. Watch that time add up. Quite an accomplishment. 😊

I had end stage liver disease, and I had almost all of these symptoms. Yellow eyes and skin. Cracked feet Bloated belly and feet, as well as water in my lungs. My pee got SO dark. In the hospital, where they saved it and I could see it without it being diluted with toilet water, it looked black with bits of green. Gall stones that hurt. No appetite. Very skinny. Thinning bones. Finally, vomiting and burst veins in my esophagus and stomach. My stool was white sometimes, but other times, red and, and other times, black, both of which indicate blood. I did not, fortunately, get to the point of vomiting blood. When you reach that stager, it may be too late. It almost was, anyway. I got liver cancer. Fortunately, I got a liver transplant and had my gall bladder removed in time, and so six and a and years later, I am still here to tell the story. I got hep C at age 18, from shooting drugs, which is what caused it all. I quit street drugs and alcohol at age 23, that is why I lived and was pretty healthy for as long as I was.

I got diagnosed with Hep C age 19, also from sharing needles. I only started IV drug use at age 18, so I had Hel C for a year at MOST. As soon as I found out, I went to my GI specialist and did a year of daily Interferon injections (it was combined with another medicine I don’t remember the name of). The treatment gave me horrible symptoms similar to those from chemotherapy. But by age 20 my virus load was undetectable, and still is at age 47! I also had a liver biopsy done when I found out I was infected, and the biopsy showed I already had moderate scarring in my liver. I wonder if the Hep C predisposed me to the Fatty Liver disease I was diagnosed with about 6 years ago? Funny thing about FLD. The drs always say “just lose weight and exercise more” to treat it. When I was first diagnosed with it (actually, I have the more serious version, NASH), I was only 20 lbs overweight but my liver enzymes were very high! I gained a LOT of weight when I hit perimenopause, and am now 80 lbs overweight! Ironically, my liver enzymes are currently in the normal range. Someone PLEASE explain how that is possible! Of course I stopped drinking (I allow myself to have a few glasses of wine for my birthday, and some champagne on New Year’s Eve. That’s it for alcohol). I also started taking Vitamin E when I got my diagnosis, bc I read somewhere that it helped with liver function. Idk. I wasn’t a heavy drinker before I was diagnosed with NASH, but I’ve obviously cut myself off almost completely since then. I just find it strange that my liver enzymes normalized AFTER I gained weight! WTH?

I also got diagnosed with hep C at 18 but didn’t get treatment until 15 years later. An easy 12 week treatment. Then I got it again and was given another chance at treatment. Self inflicted. When you’re on heroin and are withdrawing you don’t care (well I didn’t) too much about using a used needle if you have to. It wasn’t until I was in prison and off heroin it was then it scared me having this infection.

Yes :) carnivore has been helping me too. Dealing with years of chronic tick diseases but didn’t realize that a lot of symptoms were actually due to me reacting to all the natural plant toxins like lectins, phytates & especially oxalates! I really thought all those green smoothies & fresh pressed veg juices would help me heal but unfortunately it did the opposite. Now I pretty much eat various meat (esp elk, venison & pastured pork) and raw eggs and have been improving a lot over the last year… We have been so misled to believe plants are so healthy when really they are quite toxic

Genetics are unfair. I've seen drinkers live to their 90's and it has more to do with moderation and their genetics than the absence of alcohol. I've also lost friends and family in their 40's to the same. This is why the area remains murky. Its not a 1+1=2 situation.

It does, but depending on aren't the progression of it. That can do nothing for you. I have a fatty liver at least according to last diagnosis, but it hasn't been checked in over 7 years. And the reason I was checked was because I was in acute liver failure where I was bombing, blood and foam. I mean, I couldn't even get up. I was absolutely weak. I had to be carried to the ambulance. It was that bad and I live in the u. Yes. So an ambulance is really expensive and especially since I worked at minimum wage job. That claimed the heaven churns both more like the vague idea of insurance. And in your league cost me my job because my boss refused to allow me the off day to be admitted into the hospital because they were severely concerned over the fact that I was unable to keep down fluids and the anti vomiting pill that they gave me. I kept throwing up. Eventually I told a pump link looked. I've already put in my sick day. I've already called someone mind you, that is not my job didn't know that time because I was a f****** rug. But I told her everything is handled. I just needed to let you know. Because they would not allow me out of the hospital like I was weak enough that I literally couldn't even stand for 3 days.

Your exactly right. But another perspective , when my husband went to a fill in doctor for his regular physitian. He suggested that he not let his iron levels fluctuate so much. I could tell when his iron was to high. He would be moody and have a pain in his side and sleep to much. I told my fella. You need to go see a doctor and get your iron checked. He went his iron was at 600 and something and his doctor said it was just fine. And he was going to the oncologist she said this was not acceptable and told him this missmanagment was the cause of his cancer. She was abrupt and sure of her findings. No question she had seen this many times. Well said physitian gets to repeat his shit medicine and life goes on. And also they told him to take Advil cause it's fine for people with painful liver cancer it will help.

I will get my bloods done in a few days to see if it’s getting better, I hope it is. I certainly feel better for making the changes. Funny thing is I didn’t have ANY of these symptoms. Just drink beetroot juice (but remember to drink atleast 2-3 liters of water to avoid stones). Also when you wake up, drink warm water with lemon/lime juice on the empty stomach. Do this combination for 3-4 months and keep testing your liver every month to see the results and adjust the intake of beetroot juice.

A lot of these symptoms are also caused by taking statins needlessly. It's well documented that statins do absolutely no good for you but rather cause major bodily functions to fail and even become irreversibly damaged! 2 friends of mine were put on statins and both developed diabetes. Seems statins aren't good for most people. Cure one thing, create another problem, then take meds for that.. We need cholesterol, the body makes it, one type is LDL the other, HDL. If it's too high, look to a ND for real solutions. Naturopathic Dr's are a wealth of information, and do detective work finding out real problems you might be suffering from. Too bad they're not covered by our health coverage in Canada, as I feel they'd save more lives with preventative care. ... An ideal medical team would be a mix of ND 's and MD's

Just a small point of mild argument ! 1. Women on the pill may get spider naevi vessels on legs as described, but dont necessarily have liver problems. 2. Fruits with fibre lowers fructose absorption, so drinking pure juice isnt good but if eat the fruit or blend the fruit so that drink has plenty of fibre , then you get the benefit of vitamines, fibre and no sudden high influx of sugar. If lemons ir lines are organic, add in the skin to your blended drink ! For more nutrient benefit. Im not sold on fructose being damaging to liver , any more than glucose - its the sudden high concentrations that are damaging.
@sweethearteu
@sweethearteu 5 месяцев назад
No. The moment you "blend" fruit or juice it, you break the cell walls - ergo your body has to process it as pure sugar. Yes, the fibre is good - but you shouldn't blend or juice fruit for the reasons above. What you wrote is a common misconception; but that's the Truth (I hv a PhD)🙏🏻🇬🇧
@zerotoleranceforsataniceli4794
@zerotoleranceforsataniceli4794 5 месяцев назад
@@sweethearteu Thanks but you don't need a PhD to see that blending fruit releases the sugar just as if you chewed your fruit well. However , fibre is good for the gut and it still physically ( not chemically) lowers the rate of absorption, but not the total amount of sugar present. It's the rate of sugar absorption into the blood that causes the spike in blood sugar & insulin. If you blend a orange say with a lime or lemon , again you are not only reducing the absorption rate but also the total amount of sugars as lemons and limes are not sweet , so you are diluting by volume. If you drank the mixture after a meal , again you slow down the absorption compared to drinking on an empty stomach Anyway , each to their own. I feel the benefits of real fruit is worth it for a sugar spike and you can manipulate the situation to reduce that spike, and if you happen to be physically active too , that will use some up.

You don’t want to die from end stage liver disease. It’s a slow, devastating, painful way to go. Don’t count on getting a replacement liver either. It’s a rarity to qualify. You MUST STOP ALL ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION PERIOD! No exception! No cutting back! Total abstinence! If you don’t you die! Don’t make the mistake of thinking cirrhosis damage will heal. It won’t. It can only stay the same or get worse. You don’t want it getting worse.

I woke up one day with the overwhelming urge to drink, apparently. I went from being someone who might have had like, four beers a couple times a year to drinking 1, 2, 3L of hard liquor every day, and as many beers/whatever was around as I could lay my hands on. Nothing precipitated this change, I literally became a major alcoholic over night. I drank like this for about 4, 5 years, and following many accidents, broken bones, fights, losing jobs and relationships, etc it took me breaking my skull and having my brain leak out of my head to see that I was doing myself no favors by drinking so heavily. My family urged me to be evaluated, and the doctor said if I didn't stop drinking like that, I would be dead within two years based on the state of my liver and kidneys. It takes no time at all to destroy your body for good.
