But that's just my point, MadameTakayi..."Haters" never mean well. Constructive criticism is when you offer somebody a means by which they can improve in some way. Hating on the other hand, denotes the intention to destroy morale - Offering only the negative viewpoint, without offering a encouraging suggestion to achieve growth. P.S.... this video is meant to be humorous. Some of you guys are taking this way too seriously.
I know this was ""tongue in cheek", but geez what a great statement. Oh no, "tongue in cheek" I just can't get away from those vocal lesson references. Now if I could just sing well, Nice job my man!!!
lol I actually laughed out loud!!! It's so sad when I see people put down the youtube singers, and even professional artists, nitpicking at every little thing that's wrong. There's always a comment like, "I studied music in school and blah blah blah..." Or..."I'm a singer too and blah blah blah..."
lol I love it. Sorry, but I'm a singer/ musician, and yes, I am one of the 3/4 that suffers from hateration. I just don't know. It's like, I'll be sitting in a concert or something and nothing but the flaws shine through... well that's usually only when I'm watching someone who I know to be a hater... it's like the hateration just spreads so fast. Goodness.
yeah, you can live a life with positive things in mind and learn about everything that is going on at this moment....or you can choose to close the door to your mind and be alone in the world =)
Man,U had me concerned and then laughing out loud (lol). There is a bit of truth to it. I like the comical spin you put on it. It let's me know you are really kewl and down-to-earth. Don't change. I was all into the intro of this vid and I was listening "careful" for the subject then when I heard "hateration" and especially after seeing your reaction, I thought wow, this must be something new I haven't heard of. I need to watch the news more (I'm working & going to school full time). Thanx Eric.

Guilty as charged! I admit, I suffer from "hate-rash" =) [I am apparently allergic to Lady Gaga. I get hives every time someone gushes about her.] But my unfortunate affliction may be a GOOD thing, just what I needed. You see, prior to onset of acute hateration, I believed, despite my talent, that I didn't have a shot at making it in the competitive industry. But I KNOW I'm better than her, so I have a new Rx to claim my own spot next to Sting on stage to put her properly to shame.

This is too funny, I'll give you that. But all singers with records are not that good. Some just happened to have connections and opportunities. I'm not dropping names, but you know it's true. And some merely entertain, not really SING like that.
