Unfortunately, I saw your video a year after I got the printer, I had problems at the beginning charging the lines, and Epson told me to do a deep cleaning twice in order to make it work, they never told me to remove the rubber caps, I been using it like that and since I don't do a lot of printing it will work fine, until yesterday that I had to print more than a dozen tumblers is when the head was terribly clogged, and I did several cleanings and nothing change, until I saw your video and remove the rubber caps now everything makes sense, I removed the rubber caps and do a cleaning and right of way I notice the difference, I still did a deep cleaning and bam, now is printing like new, thank you very much for the information, I was ready to buy another printer, you save me a lot a money
Awesome job!! Well put together with clear and concise step by step instructions! I called earlier this week about getting one and should have jumped on it!!! Thanks for a great video!
Great video. Thank you so very much. You've helped me decide that the investment is worth it! Just wish you would drop the music in your video. It is a tad bit annoying. But the instructions could not have been better! Subscribing to your channel.
hi. we are not printing out of a programm like photoshop or similar. will we be able to print like a group of png files in a folder on my computer? like would cut the f500 after each file automatically?
I totally missed that bar too, luckily for me I have been printing with apparently no issues, but I just went and moved it to the side. That little sticker was where you mention...
@@JGood-rm6nq Jon D here from a different account. You have to run cleaning cycles until the ink reaches the print head. At least that was the quickest fix.
Did anyone have to change the maintance box straight away after set up? Mine was full after charing the lines! Also did your inks go to almost empty as well? I am in the UK and have the F500 - we got one set of inks and no roll of paper so had to buy that afterwards.
I accidentally printed several times and did the powerfull cleaning and power ink flushing with the ink caps on. Now, it only prints white pages. Any advice? SOS :(
Very interested in this printer. Just got an advert in the mail from Epson. My old Epson 1430 with CIS is worn out. Thousands of prints but ready for the junk heap.
URGENT!! I'm at the point where I was suppose to charge the printer with ink and hit the ok button. The printer started priming the printer with no Ink in the printer. I shut off the printer and I'm trying to get back to the screen where it will sayl "the process may take up to 72 mins to complete." When I got back through the menus, the printer skips that point. Now the printer thinks I'm refilling due to ink consumption. The tanks have never been primed. Is there a way I can reset the printer to band new mode and start over again? I currently have the tanks filled up to the top line and printer is off.
I love everything you explained in your video, unfortunately my printer continues to print without any results, throw the blank paper :( I already called the technicians to help me or replace my machine. But anyway, thank you for all your knowledge.
What is the core size? This print only accepts 2 inch core not 3 inch. Also the sawgrass media would need to be coated with the same coating as the Epson paper to accept the ink. Profiling might be tricky too.
Hey guys I know that epson gives you an option to opt into it's Rewards Program but it talks about finding a code on the ink and paper. Where do you find that code to register it?
Hello Terry! There are a few big differences besides size. Refilling ink is totally different. The F570 has a touch screen. Roll media handling is also different too. Give us a call 1-888-459-1482
I have not tried it. As long as that media will physically fit in the printer and it will accept the Epson dye sub ink it should be good. You might have to make some custom profiles for it too.
The issue mentioned is corrected. Some people might do what we did and wrongly assume the opposite. So this video is to clarify that for them if they accidentally do what we did or if they remove it and can't remember which way it should be and for what reason.
Hi, I would like to know how you fixed the issue... I didn't know about removing the rubber strip either and I can't make it to work. Thanks in advance.
Keep doing cleaning cycles. The ink just needs to make its way through the lines since it wasn't able to with those caps on. I believe that is all you can do.
Does this printer ship with any RIP? No, it does not. I know the answer, just getting this out there in the public. Epson will not give you a license to use their Edge RIP, NOR WILL THEY SELL IT TO YOU! You are on your own with a RIP, they refuse to even suggest one. Do you need it? Maybe you don't, it comes with a driver, you won't know what you're missing if you don't have it. Epson offers the Edge RIP as a download on the Epson support page for the F570, but don't try actually using it, because it doesn't work without a license, which they won't allow you to have! Absurdity at it's finest! As long as you are happy with those TWO choices - Textile or Rigid, yeah, I guess you CAN get by without the RIP. But REALLY, Epson?! It ships with the same printer sold in other countries. Actually, there are SOME people in the US who had a license in the box, that must've been a mistake on Epson's part.
