Warning For those buying From CJS CD Keys 

Hey man,, Wish I'd found this post a couple of weeks ago. I too have recently bought a key from these guys, using their internal system of autokey , I followed the link to steam and upon activation I had an error message indicating that the key had already been activated,, there was nothing in my gifts or messages inbox, I have never received a key and customer support was a farce,, i learnt the hard way too, and have decided my time stressing and exchanging 12 emails ,, quite honestly I'm just going to pay steam or origin , uplay ,, ( reliable vendors ) I'm £14 down and would have only saved £5 after all the tax and handling charges were added..WHAT A JOKE, I've been DUPED, ,........ DON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE WE DID

UPDATE, CJS CD Keys Has filed a defamation complaint and the video is now blocked in the UK, its unfortunate but true, here is what you can do, if you are in the UK and have been scammed by these guys complain to these two websites www.asa.org.uk/ and www.gov.uk/consumer-protection-rights

They are in my top of joke companies. I've seen that attitude more than once coming from them, it really feels like the company is run by 10 years old.

I bought around 15 games from CJS and in 3 cases I had problems. The word was with Farcry 4, the key did not work and then like you explained they asked for a list of things: a screenshot of my library, the error msg AND a screenshot of the answer from the Ubisoft customer service. So yes, I had to contact Ubisoft first and get an official confirmation that the key is not working. Simple tactics to make a certain percentage of people to just give up. After sending all those information it took in total 4 weeks until I got a working key. By the time I had bought another game and wasnt really interested in FC4 anymore....

I made the mistake to buy a key from a different website (was about $1) and they refused to send it to me unless I give them my phone number or send them a photo of my ID (which I didn't and nobody should EVER do!). I ended up opening a claim through Paypal.

With third party key providers, it's always a gamble, no matter their reputation. Some companies like G2A get outright exposed, but simply because of the system they use, there will always be the possibility of issues. I've bought keys from CJS a couple times without problems, but I feel like there will come a time when I will be screwed by them. Supposedly, they get their keys from legit game cases/cds, but I wonder if sometimes they get keys from more dubious places. I just checked their bad reviews, and it seems a lot of people are complaining their BF1 keys had already been redeemed. A few are also complaining they get asked too many personal questions, which I can understand CJS because it can sometimes be that a customer, or someone pretending to be a customer is actually trying to be sneaky and pretend they didn't get a code, just to get another one. The whole system is hard to trust, as much for the customers as it is for the sellers as well.

i had bought over 200 keys from 3rd party and also shopped from cjs. had some issues about 3-4 times on all the keys. and always got my keys without any shield on g2a and kinguin, i got the mostly the same response about sending screenshots, and proving that i didnt scam them. and have never been into a single time where i didn't get the refund or a new game. event i had a game that got revoked after 3 month from steam. and still got the money refunded. after my opinion when this is said, they are not much service minded by not looking into each case and value the risk of the refund. it seems like the same procedure goes for all games even for a 1 euro game. where they instead look and which country and loyalty of the customer. my case was the same that a key was already used, and took about 3 weeks before it was refunded

Alot of peaple get confused about cd keys i purchased an xbox live for 3 months it was loding for 8 hours but all you had to do is log in and it the key showed up after logging in

I literally almost used this site from an ad that I saw. Watched this video and instead just purchased straight from Steam.

once bought farcry 3 from them and it had already been redeemed; after about two months of dealing with them i filed a paypal complaint or whatever it is and got my money back within a week. As for your situation, you should have provided proof that your key was already redeemed, and they shouldn't have threatened you; both in the wrong. How can you expect them to refund you if you haven't provided any proof?

I've bought 150 games on G2A and CJS And never had any issues, been scammed or had my games taken back from me? xD

why would you use a dodgy third party website if your only saving 2 dollars?

Just bought MAFIA III (3) from them, it said in stock and when i went to the page to collect the key it said Temporarily Out Of Stock, Should usually be in stock within 12 Hours, I'm callin' bullshit lol. Also, it first had the "FIX PAYMENT" option or something like that, I clicked it out of curiosity and the page just kept reloading and said error or some shit, after I reloaded it manually the "Fix Awaiting Payment" thing had went away and now it says it needs me to VERIFY THE PURCHASE, I already verified my first purchase which was BF HARDLINE YESTERDAY!!! It said it wasn't going to ask me to verify anymore and that yesterday it was a one time thing! Idk if it's cause I changed my number before buying MAFIA 3 (Cause I had used my Sisters Phone number at first) but either way, what's weird is that it says go to my EMAIL to verify, I checked my emails and there's none in there from CJs CDkeys that say anything about Verifying.

Thank you. You probably just saved me a lot of hassle. I've looked at a lot of other reviews after watching your video and the amount of extremely negative ones are a joke. Don't buy from cj's cd keys people unless you want cd keys that don't work.

My brother bought me gta 5 from cdkeys then i accidently turned off my power while my gta 5 was downloading on rockstar games launcher then my fills got messed up and everytime i run rockstar games launcher or gta 5 which I purchase from cdkeys I get a errors from my sync one drive that was fills were deleted and this and that and it was so stressful and i tried fixing it in the fills and everything

I bought Halo Master Chief Collection from them back in December expecting a key for a digital download, got an xbox live account with the game attached which at some point has had the game removed from it. I suspect this was due to the game being purchased with stolen credit card information, tried to get this refunded I'm not holding my breath on it actually happening. Needless to say I shall be steering clear of these con artists in future.

BTW I bought a round trip flight and now I must cancel/move the date. If I cancel, according to the airline, I can't get a refund after 24 hours of booking it, which it has been, but we are over two weeks away from the date of departure, and I feel I should be able to cancel maybe up to a week prior to the flight, but I feel like if I were to try to do a charge back, it's not going to go well for me. I am just going to try to move the trip for another date, which I think I am allowed to do still.

I totally agree. Have made many purchases there, luckily only with one of them there was an issue. Basically the game was for RU region while the product description mentioned that it is region free.. I tried to contact customer support to get it swapped out with the right version, but at that point I understood that they have the worst customer support ever, no chases of changing the product or getting money back :( So if you like to gable, go for it, but be warned that you might loose your money.

Damn. This is unfortunate. I only had one problem with them which was when I bought from them for the first time, although this was a security problem. Otherwise, the rest have been great.

I bought an XBox live key off them and got the same crap when it didn't work. Definitely going to look at alternatives before I consider CJS again. When it works, it's spectacular. When it doesn't, you're screwed. I prefer not to gamble on whether I'm going to get my "instant" game now or in 6 months time.

thank you I almost bought a game from them. would have saved me a few bucks. but after seeing this I just bought it through steam. a couple extra dollars I wouldn't have missed isn't worth the possibility of all this happening

I bought from CJSCDKEYS, account didn't have the game. I asked for refund, and it's been 7 days now. First they told me to be patient. Then I messaged again after 5 days and they told me they would forward my issue to "senior department".... They haven't resolved the issue yet lol

hi thx for the video sorry fur unburing it but still a hot topic, i buy on 3rd party but i am aware it may not be legit even though it activates... so many people confuse both and think activation = legit it is as legit as having a key to open a house, but you don't know how the key was found stolen etc, well it opens the door but is it legit for you to enter the house? probably not

I’ve had a few problems from CJS keys, late pre orders, keys what say they are in stock aren’t just to sell more keys. Classic was when my friend paid for 6 mystery keys and 5/6 was the same game. CJS keys refused a refund until THEY resold the keys.

It has now been over 30 hours and i still havent received my key. My brother bought multiple games from them and didnt have any problems. What do i do?

I bought 2 games so far from CJS. First one was fine. Second one said invalid, but worked the second time i entered it. I had it copied and pasted so it wasnt me making an error. I thought that was strange but other than that it was good. I usually go to CDKeys tho

Even if i would buy with a slight risk. and your not comfortable with it. go to regular game store and buy it there. But not all games you want to pay 70 euros for so than go with 3th party right.

I bought TWO keys, of the very same game... and yeah, they asked me for the same information, two of which is irrelevant because I also bought another key and activated it. It's just laughable. Gonna try to move on and not think about them, these guys should really be brought down.

I bought a Xbox account that had Destiny the collection on it for £26.99 - Worked fine for the first day but the next day it stopped working, the account that had the game on it was "refunded" to a discovery card - which I assume was frugality used :/

The second link I'm sure every PC gamer is familiar with. It's Humble Bundle which features great bundles and games which can be found on their store for bargain prices too.

Bought BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE FOR 14 DOLLARS AROUND 5 PM BUT DIDN'T GET IT UNTIL ABOUT 1 - 3 AM (AT NIGHT) EVEN THOUGH IT SAID "INSTANT DELIVERY GUARANTEED" When I had went to collect my key (After verifying my account with my phone number) it would pop out a message that said something like "We are manually checking your product, afterwards your key will be available "SHORTLY" *i GUESS THEY WERE MAKING SURE IT WAS VALID? CAUSE I HEARD A STORY FROM SOMEONE IN 2014 WHERE THEY GIVE HIM AN ALREADY USED KEY*...... ANYWAYS...* "SHORTLY" TO ME IS WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS AT THE MOST, NOT OVER 6! But still... I can't complain, it still arrived within 24 hours which is good enough to me and IT WORKED, I entered the code in Origin and it came up that it was BF Hardline Standard edition, time to see if it's really not region locked lol, i heard some people saying they ordered "non region locked" games and that they were actually region locked! Damn shit! Lol. The reason I was doing this was to make sure I wasn't going to get Scammed cause I'm possibly about to buy MAFIA 3 DELUXE EDITION from them which is like $60! I really hope everything goes smoothly like it has with BF HARDLINE, I really really don't wanna go through some Customer service/refund type of bullshit with these motherfuckers, they shouldn't be giving me false keys and shit, they've been in this business since 2011 I think or even before that.

Yeah. CJS keys is pretty bad now a days, they've screwed me over too with a russian copy that was sold as a worldwide non vpn key. Used to use it a couple years ago. Sorry to hear about this. Me and a few friends have been using kinguin.net for nearly a year, everything is within you're account within ten minutes and you can always access the keys or gifts on you're account, i've had something delayed but it was resolved within two minutes on their live chat support. Go ahead and charge back for the key, there is no chance in hell they'd pay to get a lawyer involved in fraud over twenty bucks. If things go well with this please let us know how it went

Never had an issue with these guys, ever, except for my last key where the verification process got stuck in a loop and I couldn't download my key. A quick E-Mail and it was resolved without any fuss. I guess it depends on who you are.

I bought at least 6 or 7 titles from them. I eventually got ripped off on a D3 reaper of souls copy in early 2016. The key simply did not activate on battle.net I spoke with a rep at Blizzard no help there as they said key was not valid. I e-mailed CJS 3-4 times over a week or so. They only ever auto-replied saying my ticket was open and they would respond soon. Eventually went back to paypal and tried to reverse the payment. Paypal ended up just refunding me the money themselves as no response ever came from CJS. Shit company when something goes wrong. Needless to say: will never use again. edit: thinking back on it further, they eventually did reply saying the key should work. "to activate it @ battle.net' or something to that effect. duh.

I have Capital One use it for all my purchases, they're vicious if someone tries to fuck you over, you just mark the charge as fraudulent or item not as stated bam charges fully refunded. Works every time has never failed.

I bought a key. They sent me a link to the key. There was no key.

I know it is late but Steam shows on each game the date of purchase. The game will show when you purchased it, and you can provide the steam purchase details. This will show that the game you purchased from them doesn't match the date you purchased from steam as well as the opening post date on their forums. Unless you are unlucky that the post date was the same day you purchased the game on steam, you proof of what you are saying.

Tip for buying stuff online. Always use PayPal as you can dispute the case with them and they will get you the money back.

You are awar of the fact thay they didn't even give you s used key, but a used Steam gift? and that is illegal to sell according to the steam EULA. it might even get your syeam account banned. This is what I'm dealing with right now, I tried redeeming my witcher 3 key from cjs but noticed it was a gift. They specifically state on he sell page (I have a screen shot) that they take cd keys from sealed brand new game copies. The response I got from them is "we'll refund you if and when we'll sell your copu to someone else". I disputed the purchase with Paypal and am now waiting for their response. Did you eventualy dispute the charge? what was the result?

Let them to report this to the police, Paypal always refunds you if you do not get what you paid for. I've ordered from this site before never had a key that was already used before, however I've bought from another site where i had that issue but they simply gave me another key no questions asked.

Yea I just bought a key from them for a game they said instant retrieve on Autokeys or whatever. Then I go to retrieve it and they say 2-12 hours they will have a key. I am like ok w.e wait 2 days and no key still so I contact support and they said I will get an automatic email when a key is available. Needless to say its a week later and no email or nothing. I don't understand how they can charge you and not give you any product. Such a scam company

I always get refunds, this sounds bogus.

I'm in the same boat as you. Had many transactions with them in the past only to be scammed on the latest one. Will never buy there again. Lots of people say they are fine and sometimes you are but eventually you will be straight up scammed by them.

JUst going to say I am having the same problem off them and I purchased alot of keys off them, I give them all the information they asked for and they refused to refund me the money and all of a sudden when I do a chargeback it is fraud clearly it isn't just a headsup it isn't worth it, I am going through the current process of paypal dispute.
