I agree with you, that cord is cinched tight around baby’s waist. Out of curiosity I googled it and it seems it has been documented in people too - “fetal demise by umbilical cord around abdomen and stricture”. Such a shame, baby looked well formed and big(if in obvious decomposition). If it wasn’t for those few umbilical loops, she might’ve had a healthy daughter…

It seems like pigtail. I noticed many times a tail in newborn pigtails is proportionally longer than in adult ones (comparing to body length). Anyway, this is so heartbreaking 💔😭

This was very sad, indeed and Rojo staying there with her was so sweet of him. This was a miracle baby - unfortunately Ashley has not been destined for motherhood. I do believe this is a pure pigtail baby. Even a hybrid would have very dark fur and this baby is golden all over. RIP Ashlen. ✌🏼

@@jbr7300It is a pigtail, but it is in a state of decomposition, and it would be a lot darker if not already dead for several days. Look at newborn, wet pigtails, they are pretty dark. Not yellow/orange, which is a certain decomposition process!

She has a scar right above her pubic area that proves that her tubes were tied.. They grow back it happens more often than people think. It happens with vasectomy in men and it happens to tubal ligation in women. Life finds a way... Unfortunately this is not the outcome anyone wanted.. Ashley is going to be a sad monkey mom..

Thats exactly what i said. People "find" newborn pigtails all the time for pets. I honestly think she would adopt. My heart breaks for her. And a little girl, too.

If Ashley wants to adopt one, she will. Just like she did with Amanda. Hopefully, she will, but that would be up to Ashley.

@@reneemills-mistretta790none that have been documented. Ashley has been filmed for a long time, maybe 6+ years? Back then she was a low ranking member in Amari troop. Once she did have significant bleeding that looked like she might have had a miscarriage, but never a full term birth. It’s a shame

Abandoned monkeys are largely a myth. Pet owners will claim that they came upon a "poor baby monkey" when, in reality, they bought it from a poacher or a breeder.

I'm with you...😔 I'll admit...I thought if she was pregnant, it would be a stillborn. Simply because of her past, her age, and the rate these macaques have stillborns is high. I think it has a LOT to do with the foods they are fed. The high sugar contents in the fruits they are given. They are gluttonous monkeys, so they will eat and eat like they are starving. Add that with the soy milk and cows milk they give them.... Monkeys NEED monkeys milk. In the wild, it's very seldom that adults even drink milk. Add that with the stress they have of being chased down on a daily basic by humans that film them, and when you cross breed longtails and pigtails, the rate goes even higher. Let's not forget they get none of the exercise they are used to when they forage in the wild. They don't have to walk much to find food anymore. Their poor diets are given to them by humans.

No, I did not see the bottle strawberry milk.. smh 🙄 Doesn't surprise me. People are treating them like human babies. I don't hardly watch any other channel. If I do, I don't click on it and watch it from my feed. Exactly, girl! During covid, the monkeys did their thing. ALONE...with no help from us humans. This is not a sanctuary. This is at Angkor Archaeological Park and temples in Siem Reap Cambodia. And yes there is a sexually mature pigtail named Pongo. Thom is another pigtail that is close if not already. Hybrids (pigtails bred with longtails) do have a lower birth rate. Hope that helps.

Go back a few videos where there was a lot of discussion about this. Monkey momma only told what was shared with her by Ashley’s previous owners’ daughter. She had a tubal ligation - which have been known to come undone. That is apparently what happened. Monkey momma left it up to her viewers to believe what they wanted to believe. She did not ever say it was impossible or that Ashley was not pregnant t. She only repeated what she was told by a reliable source ✌🏼RIP Ashlen.

If the tubes are just cut and not clamped or removed this can and does happen.

Her tubes were tied over 15 yrs ago. They do come untied. It's not 100% effective.

damn at first she didn’t even know it was dead so she was cleaning it as if it needed nurturing. I’m rooting for her to have a successful pregnancy one day even tho she’s old and it’s hard particularly for her to have one. Her swollen bum being there all the time and never reverting to normal has something to do with it. Yes I know they are wild. What about the baby monkey that was taken to be doctored and now just given back to mother. Who paid for that? Nothing was done to help Ashley. Has she always been wild. It was full term, although dead for at least a couple of days, maybe a week, even! That's why it had that yellow colour, soft appearance and decomposed really fast!

people that baby was deformed, it didn't even have a complete face, the cord was wrapped around it's torso it cut off blood and oxygen to body parts. Tha kick had nothing to do with it.@@sinistercyn9849
