There's no way that's the reason. That happens very rarely. The most logical reason would be that Amazon and Walmart got more preorders than they can supply. There might be something else going on, but there's nothing I can think of beyond speculation.

I'm not trying to knock you or anything, but have you considered the license to the digital product expiring for the didgital product? Ubisoft even said at one one point that gamers should get used to not owning their games. Personally, I don't think digital is the way to go.

The real problem begins when we lose either option (physical/digital) & we're all forced into just the 1 option...then we're all fucked as gamers
