Visiting a voodoo fetish market certainly won't be everyone's cup of tea. It definitely wasn't mine, but was still a unique cultural experience even if I was feeling somewhat disturbed by the end of it.
This particular market is one of the largest in Benin and sells a huge assortment of animals such as birds, snakes, lizards, scorpions, the list goes on and on. There's also a wide variety of animal parts available including full carcasses, skulls, bones, shells, heads, horns and skins!
