It means a lot when Jay's grandma says he's your son now. Not only did she miss her dead son, but she wished they could love Jay as much as she loved her son. This reminds me of Jesus telling his disciple John that Mary is now John’s mother. 😢
Watching your grandma wipe her son's grave, and your mom crying in the background, broke me. Jay you are blessed to have such a beautiful family both in China and in Missouri.
That was not Chinese food. Looks terrible. Watch Blondie in China if you want good food. I could not bare to watch this episode. One of the worst videos. I came here to watch Xiao Tofu and all I got was old grannies.
Foreigners may not understand the complicated feelings in grandma's sentence "He is your son", the missing of her Dead son, please take care of her grandson, and the reluctan ther grandson😭😭😭
Jay is indeed blessed to have beautiful Ari as a wife so respectful to his family members and great open-minded parents-in-laws too. Grandma loves Jay and is well assured his parents-in-law treats him as their own son. God bless all!
My eye tear up too! RIP Jay's Dad! Very good of Jay to bring his family to pay respect to his Dad's grave. I'm sure Jay's Dad would feel proud of him became a father too. ❤
Hello from California. I stumbled across your videos and I’m now hooked. I love watching your adventures. I can’t wait to go to China in the near future.
This episode is full of love, joy, and emotions. I almost cried when I saw Jay's mother-in-law meeting his grandma, and the two ladies exchanged words that came from the bottom of their hearts. I also enjoyed watching your family enjoy a wonderful, vegetarian meal together. I couldn't believe my eyes that vegan foods could be so exquisite and tasty. God really blesses Jay with having a harmonious family and in-laws with big hearts. Can't wait to see the rest of your trips, especially your upcoming wedding in China.
Chinese culture is about making things better for next generation. I would consider Jay's dad the first generation of the modern China. I always thought it would take at least two more generations. That would be little Tofu. But the fact is if Jay's dad is still alive today, he would be able to see the fruit of his generation hard work is pretty amazing.
I cried with you. I have Chinese in-laws as you do Arie. I know how loving and caring they are. My husband and I have been married almost 55 yrs (in Sept). We have 4 children and 4 grandchildren and in the fall, great grand parents. I love my husband’s family deeply. Best food I ever ate was at my father and mother in-laws house. .
How nice the world would have been if politicians do not waste hundreds of billions of dollars for military armaments and buildong military bases instead of making friends and visiting one another in different nations as the young couple and their relatives do to enjoy their loves, foods and sightseeing.
The way we as people make this possible is by boycotting MSM that continually war mongers and not giving them a single second of our view time. Trust and viewership of MSM in the US has already plummetted to all time lows and that's another reason for the forced sale of TikTok, because too many are getting their news from there and the governing elite wish to bring it into the fold or compliant corporate media.
Chinese festivals are all about family reunion, no matter is Middle Autumn, Dragon Boat, or CNY. Qingming Festival is a special one, for which we pay tribute to the deceased loved ones and reunite with them spiritually.
I cried from the beginning until half of the video, i cant. Hello from Malaysia. Wishing everything is great to Ari and Jay family. Looking forward to the next video.
Im a subscriber from Canada who was born in Nanjing so super excited to see you guys visit there!! ❤ The scene's with Jay's grandma definitely made me cry. She's so sweet and I wish I could hug her myself haha
I couldn’t believe I watched it with tears. Jay,your father must be someone who found great favor in God’s eyes that you are blessed with an incredibly beautiful and kind wife. Your videos are always enjoyable and filled with love and care in life. 所以,我每天都在期待看新的episode. 谢谢分享❤
I am sure Jay’s father would be so proud of you all. No one is more sad than Jay’s grandma. In Chinese culture, children should be burying their parents not the other way around way around.
We Chinese Disporas worldwide will always go to Qing Ming ( Tomb Sweeping Day ) to pray our departed parent's & those relatives as a way of showing our day's of REMEMBRANCE . Its the most very special days after Chinese New Year . Its fillial piety to most among the Chinese Culture to the living souls .
This is the first video that make me cry and then make me laugh😢😂excellent, l would watch several times. Look at the dishs, l know that must be a high grade restaurant. ❤❤❤

LORD Jesus, bless this family, LORD Jesus watch over all of them, especially their wonderful grandma. LORD Jesus surround her with loving family and loving friends, and pour Your love upon her in the midst of sorrowful remembrance. LORD Jesus continue to guide Jay and Ari in every moment of their journey with their families together. In Your holy name, Jesus our KING I pray. Amen.

Precious family time. 我爸爸也比奶奶早走,白髮人送黑頭人真的很難過。清明掃墓後吃素is very appropriate. The veg food Jay’s cousin made look so exquisite and good. As a vegetarian of 11 years, I am so jealous lol
I wish I could like this video a thousand times! Ari, you made cried too. Such a beautiful family, beautiful soul. That's a very exquisite vegetarian meal. Wow.
