Furnished Finder is a lead generator.
It’s not a booking site like Airbnb or Vrbo.
In Furnished Finder, you will get a list of people looking for housing within a 20 mile radius of your property.
Find their email - copy and paste a pre written email template for that property.
I give the Airbnb link so they know which property, the rent and security deposit amount and other details for that property.
This is how I find my medium-term tenants.

Thanks for sharing because I sat on that website for several months without having any interaction from The Travelers and was wondering what was wrong, I contacted furnished finder to reach out for someone to help me and they did not reach back out to me. So finally I decided to get the emails and email the potential leads.

My struggle is getting tenants. My private unit isn't ready yet so renting out rooms in my current home. People love them but prefer private units (which is understandable). Besides that, these are great tips that I actively use!

The deposits are too much and they take all your per diem!! No shared space should be more than800 a month a room..when I started travel nursing 6 years ago I club get a whole unit for 650!! Same unit now is 2200 and nothing has been updated..all rental sites are rip offs..taking the boy and profit out of travel

OMG! Thank You. I just signed up and was looking all over the place to understand just this!! It's a lead tool...not a booking tool. Thanks a Million!! Once you send them youre Airbnb link, are they booking through Airbnb? If so, How do you handle the fees and lesser amount you're paid??

So happy I could help! I send a possible tenant an email with my Airbnb link just so they know what the property looks like. Then I create a lease and set up payments through Avail.co so they are directly booking with me.

@ZeonaMTR Do you still reach out to people with a lower monthly budget? Like let's say the person's budget is $1600 - $2000 per month. And you want $3000 - $3400. Do you still ask the person? And which website is your personal favorite, FF or Airbnb for MTR?

Airbnb is my favorite but its harder to use for MTR. Yes we reach out to everyone if we are needing a tenant, maybe they can stretch their budget

In furnished finder stats they cities. For example "San Antonio, Texas ranks #3 in the state of Texas, and #34 of 19,654 cities nationwide.". What does this mean? Ranking is by searches, profitability, number of available homes...?

Hi Max, that's a question for Furnished Finder, I am not sure what they are basing that ranking on. I do know that Texas is one of 6 states that has an extreme shortage of nurses. They are not projected to be back to precovid levels until 2030. Probably some good opportunities for MTRs there.

Hi! I'm a travel nurse and I'm having a problem with my past landlords reviewing my info via the email sent to them from Furnished Finder's. Do you know how or what past landlords are supposed to do exactly. I'm trying to get my profile completed because it's at 82% without having this done. This is so frustrating b/c I can't find any info on this to instruct my previous landlords on how to complete this. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you are referring to, possibly because I have never been a traveler on furnished finder. It sounds like you will need to contact their customer support.

I just started with Furnished finder and the leads they sent me are not active theyonly sent me 3. they keep saying its active. But I feel they're not. One of the lead told me they found a place 2wks ago. And the other 2 don't answer emails, messages, texts or when you call them. So I don't know how to handle that. Especially when they only send me 2 leads!?

What area are you listed in? I send emails out to people who are even in my "unmatched housing requests" because sometimes my property will work for people. You never know. Hope that can help some!

I am having trouble getting tenants in a private room in my house. I’m not the best at writing descriptions and talking about the property. Do you have any pointers or examples? I want to make a template and keep using it for the most part.

Heres a listing example: www.airbnb.com/rooms/42708248. I don't have any private rooms, so you have to adapt from my entire unit. I lead with bullet points because people generally don't read, but include longer descriptions after just in case and for keywords and SEO.

biggest problem I see (from the tenants view) in a shared area, is privacy. I want a private bedroom and private bath. (Even better if it has a private entrance). And if you have a house that has a split plan, the Master bedroom is perfect for a rental. But if you give me a room in the hall with no private bath, and I have no a/c control... nope. pass. and pets. I don't want to deal with someone's "friendly" pets.

Totally pointless video short Even with hours of excellent script and follow up, FF is garbage. If you have no job and no responsibility daily, then spend your days courting people who are budget window shoppers. Then play email or phone tag on the truly terrible FF interface for days or weeks at a time. Then after you sign a contract, wait a few weeks until the traveler cancels their reservation a month before check-in

Hey Jeff, it sounds like you have had poor luck with Furnished Finder. I am sorry to hear that. It still works well for us and we have properties in 5 states but maybe your market is more challenging. I still get the best rates on Airbnb but I love the longer bookings we get through FF.

Furnished Finder engages in blatantly illegal and unethical practices. They lie about sending renewal reminders and make it difficult to opt-out without providing another payment method. Despite clear evidence of their wrongdoing, they refuse to issue refunds. Furnished Finder's practices are illegal, unethical, and downright terrible. Avoid this company at all costs.
