just from an outside perspective it does seem a but odd to me how bad the Leo 2a3 armor is in comparison. But I am no tank armor expert

Firstly 1980s leopards were closer to 50 tonnes than 70. Secondly soviet tanks were much smaller so most of the time they had thicker armor because the area you had to armor was much smaller (ever heard of square cube law?)Thirdly true t-80bv (as opossed to normal b with era) had same hull armor as t-80U. T-72m1 which is used in some nato armies was extensively tested and we know it has similair or superior frontal protection to early Abrams and Leopard2 based on undisclosed documents. Also i forgot early chobham was pretty simple and weak vs kinetic rounds. soviets were employing composite armor for almost 2 decades while it was the first western atempt at armor other than pure steel lol. I am polish but racist iignorant idiots full of themselves like you actually make me defend the soviets lol.

Also t-80B got massively buffed

2nd panzer seems to actually be the best West German div atm

dude i was playing panzer gren yesterday and a guy with a small handful of spetsnaz (3) and 2 bmp steam rolled 3 fs jager 2 flam pio and 2 norm pio and a collection of recon marders and fuchs, west german performance is a joke

It is a sad time to be a west german player

yeah ive always found the fs jager to be underwhelmed due to no special forces trait

yeah why does east fs have the trait but west doesnt, its silly
