Since 2019 Waroora Station campsites are now managed by two completely separate bodies. If you want to stay at the beach campsites you need to book through DPAW: parks.dpaw.wa.gov.au/site/war...
This video shows the approach to these beach sites via the Northern entrance. Our story was that we had originally booked the Homestead but then the Southern Road to the Homestead was closed due to heavy rains, so we had to take the Northern Entrance and made our way to The Ridge where the caretaker advised us to call DPAW who were able to arrange a one-night stay over in the their overflow region called The Stan.
Main thing for 2WD vehicles is to be able to deflate tyres quickly and and be able to reflate them later.
