Yeah a lot of people were confused, but our show was about child trafficking and bringing hope and sending a message. The movie sound of freedom was our impact of our show basically, and the song being sung which is give me strength and the choir voices in the back they are saying “ We are Gods children and we’re not for sale” in a some type of native language 💞
I could be very wrong and just be sharing information that has nothing to do with this show. But it very much reminded me of their 2014 show, “Sticks and Stones”. The sticks surrounding the tarp, the holes in the guard costumes, the girl sitting in the corner (there was a boy and a girl sitting in the corner in their show from 2014’s show). This would be the 10 year anniversary of one of their strongest shows and one I will remember forever. It was such an agonizing show to watch and almost impossible to watch with a dry eye. As I see it, this show revisits this and puts all of that agony at ease, telling us it’s over and everything will be okay.
My daughter was in this show. It is about child trafficking. The sticks resemble a cage. The girl in white is the child. The girls represent the story. They are telling her story with the tears on the costume and the bruises.
