Love this show. It got better as the season progressed. If this series was on HBO or Netflix it would be receiving more publicity. Wonderful narrative with interesting characters. Looking forward to season two.
@@xerxesmod2224 It's a series airing on Cinemax. Ten episodes. It premiered the first week in April. Give it a try. Interesting characters, fascinating storylines and awesome fight scenes.
Love the first fight between Al Sahm and Li Yong. Both are extremely skilled fighters with Al Sahm never meeting anyone in the states to match his skill until he came across Li Yong who forced him back into a predicament of thinking and calculation. How they both size each other up, Li Yong's extreme discipline against Al Sahm raw ferocity.
@@rhyswallace3590 Li Yong uses a combination of wing chun, jeet kun do and shaolin, then he switches them up depending on his opponent's fighting style.. While Ah Sahm, is more on jeet kun do as the executive producer and the creator wanted Ah Sahm to not be a direct imitation of Bruce Lee, but to pay a little homage to him..
There isnt any Series out like Warrior. Very underrated. The fight scenes, stunts, and storytelling is top notch. Really wish more people would watch it.
I like how Leary at the end is like, "wait this guy speaks English?" Young Jun's reaction to when he finds out that fact was HYSTERICAL. Even though it was subtitled, by the way he said in Chinese "What the fuck?" You wouldn't need subtitles to guess he was saying something similar.
Andrew Koji as Kuai Liang Sub Zero to Joe Taslim Noob Saibot with good directors producers and writers (not like the 2021 travesty of an MK reboot last year) would be DOPE
*Warrior:* Where the White leads don't all look like Brad Pit, the Black leads don't all look like Denzel Washington and the Asian leads don't all look like an elder asexual Mr. Miyagi.
Yes the fights are amazing but what's also amazing is that when there are no fights going on you are are never bored and that's speaks to the writing and the story.
New addiction. binge watched the first season in 2 days and I'm loving this show. I love the confidence Ah-Sam has whenever he fights or is threatened. He toys with his opponent and he has great comebacks! Thankyou whoever put this video together. Beautiful Ah-Sam. You give me yellow fever.💞💞💞💞
Idk why but I really love the factory fight scene. Maybe because Ah Sahm at this moment was fighting for his people. Ah Sahm will always stand up to bullies and I love that about him. And he's not a super cold blooded killer. Could've shot the dude with the shot gun but he didn't. I'm so glad that the writers wanted Ah Sahm to be his own character (of course skilled and flawed) and not trying replicated another Bruce Lee. They did great with the casting for everyone in this show.
He's an interesting contrast to Ah Sahm. In his own way, Mr Leary is fighting against slavery by uniting the Irish to fight for decent wages, etc and stop the poor and working class from being exploited. Plus you've got the contrast of having Ah Sahm as someone who's had lots of martial training whereas Leary has been toughened by years of street fighting. But you can tell he's clearly had some boxing lessons, ha ha!
Leary's one of the best character's in the show. I like how the show doesn't demonize the Irish workers and sheds light to their plight even though they're clearly the antagonists in this show.
Dudes a badass, he's the only one in the show showing the his formidable style of boxing compared to the rest being martial arts. Awesome show! Since season 2 is out everyone should sign a petition for season 2
I just discovered this series last night. OMG, I was up until 5:30 a.m until I could not keep my eyes open. This is the best karate series ever. Now on season2 Outstanding.
Its one of the series where you root for every character to win even though their goals clash with each other, and their losses would be inevitable as one gains advantage over the other
Just finished season 3 and it was amazing it is easily top 5 shows for me. I've never heard of it until I was bored one day and looked up top 10 shows to watch. This show deserves more recognition and we need a season 4.
I'm interested in this series and look forward to the second season. I have a wish. I wish we could see Bolo's fight with Liyong instead of Ehsam's early fight with Lee.
Bolo was a beast. I'd rather have seen him fight Leary instead. It would have been interesting to see these two powerhouses square against each other, but alas.
If we get a season 3 I wanna see Zing vs Ah Sahm, and Li Yong vs Leary. I also really want them to do a flashback set before the first season with Bolo and Young Jun, and if they felt like showing Mai Ling start he rise to power( and relationship with Li Yong) that would be icing on the cake.
这个剧真的很棒,就像是李小龙走进了《荒野大镖客》的小镇。打斗场面能让人感同身受,很少有动作戏能做到这一点。 This show is really great. It's like Bruce Lee walked into the town A Fistful of Dollars took place. And the fight scenes make you feel how the characters feel, not many shows can do that. 作为中国人,真的很高兴看到一个中国背景的角色,尽管Andrew Koji是英日混血,但同样能够代表亚裔,希望能够看到更多亚裔演员在荧幕上有更精彩的表现。最后,特朗普傻逼。 As a Chinese, I'm glad to see a Chinese background character. Andrew Koji is half British half Japanese, nonetheless, he's doing a great job representing Asians. I hope more Asian actors and actresses cast in TV shows and movies. BTW, fuck Donald Trump.
FYI, this show has a 2nd season coming out soon (Amazon for sure, probably others) and whether there's a 3rd season depends on how much we watch it through legit channels. Look at those fights and tell me this show doesn't deserve another shot.
Boulou was soon removed from the series. They all complimented Bolo and said that he was a yellow dragon and suddenly he had just arrived and his sister simply died with a knife blow !!!!!!!!
Idk, I'm not that impressed with these fights..they don't have the same flow like Wu assassins..especially the group fights where here they attack 1 by 1...but I guess that's more classic
Wu Assasins suffers in the writing department. It is filled with cliche and the typical underdog plotline. For choreography, i prefer the Warrior since it is slightly more realistic than Wu assasins. Wu is just over the top. The warrior would have been much better if the choreography went into even more realistic movesets like Donnie Yen's Special ID or Flashpoint, cause the lore and story fit well for hyper-realistic combat. Though i understand the producers want to appeal the mainstream market as well so it is kinda justified to make the fight scenes a bit more flashy. As for casting, Warrior nailed it much much better than Wu. The roles and actors are very believable. On the other hand, Wu made a deceivingly bad choice of casting Iko Uwais who doesn't look like anything Chinese related. It is only just to capitalize on Iko's star power from the Raid. It is comical to force Iko's character as a chinese-indonesian, like it totally ruined the immersion. There are actual chinese indonesian actors who might be more fitting to the role despite having less star power for the given genre.
@@hasant6504 Deadass!? Wow, she sure as HELL didn't have to do that as she could have turned out to be some one else, if ukno wat I mean.
