Arms has always felt way more fun to play over fury. My biggest complaint about warrior atm is how they fk'd up heroic leap. Can't use it, unless it's perfectly flat ground, even then 99% of the time you have to spam it, cause a pebble is in the way...
Yes! This has been true for a couple expansions now, I think. Heroic leap used to be so easy to use, but for whatever reason they put too heavy of restrictions on it. It can make a difference doing a normal jump before you use heroic leap though, like a LOS issue.

First, huge thank you. Second, I don't know. I'm really loving Slayer for solo play. Slayer strikes are like mini windfuries & the extra root break is very nice. I tried Colossus briefly & found it to be clunky. Maybe if they'd let you still move slowly while casting Demolish it'd be better?
@@HeavieofMettle i mean white border feels like a priest video or a food show. Put in lots of effort into your thumbnail, clicks come from good thumbnails trust me. As for the design you figure it out use ai maybe?

The TTK in live WoW is starting to be quicker as gear comes into the scene! If you like a faster pace with more abilities and no ability duplicates like ranks, then go with retail. If you prefer a slower, clunkier, more basic experience, then go Classic instead of live servers. I played both in multiple states for 18 years and can’t see myself playing Classic anymore besides a relaxing time leveling.
I'm not theory crafter, so take my advice with a grain of salt. What I've read is that for Arms PvP, Mastery = Haste. So, 1. Stam, 2. Versatility, then 3. is equal parts Mastery and Haste. Crit is supposed to be not very good, which is a hard concept to wrap your head around as a classic player. My plan is to have balanced Mastery and Haste.
The best outdoor pvp videos i have ever seen since one of a WotLK hunter lvl 70 that i dont remember the name killing 80´s (his video had the pretender foo fighter theme among other rock songs, if anyone knows who im saying tell me name pls!)
I fool around on a Hunter during DF and I have to say it's crazy fun and has a amazing toolkit for wpvp and bgs. I'm just too ingrained in that Warrior business.
@@HeavieofMettle I recall the last time fury was fun was in Nighthold with that crazy trinket. Bursty and smooth rotation. After that, they made it clunky and awkward and I never went back.
The combat system was really good in it. But they burnt me as a customer with bad decision after bad decision. I have less faith in them than I do in Blizzard and that's saying something.
@@markhanson2660 well yea you mean all 3 original battlegrounds? It’s better than retail and better than vanilla imo but yea definitely need more content.
I've love SoD and if they do a Classic + I hope they keep a lot of what they've introduced. However, they've really put in minimal effort for PvP in SoD. It's a shame. I'm not saying I'm done with it, I'm waiting to see what P5 holds. But, based on what's been leaked already, it looks like very little for PvP again.

Glad you were able to still enjoy the vid! Hope you stick around despite retail. Maybe SoD can reel me back in with some PvP updates, but it feels like they've given up on that whole part of the game.
