Why does a guy rumored to be such a self-centered guy resonate with me so much? So much charisma and intensity.

I miss this guy so much. He was one of my heroes as a kid, I had all the tassels and paints for my face, I started working out at 13 years old! I kept saying I’m going to be just like him. I never got a chance to meet him, growing up on the reservation it was so hard to leave if you weren’t an adult. Whenever I’m feeling down or lazy I listen to him and man, it makes me want to go take on the world and be ready for whatever life throws at me. I know it sounds dumb or fangirl but man he molded my life so much. At first I wanted to be a wrestler but seeing what happened to him I changed my focus to bodybuilding and in 2019 I finally got my ifbb pro card. I’m nowhere near as big as the cutlers and the Coleman’s but I became a pro doing it my way, clean, and I’m the first Native American to hold a pro bodybuilding title

He was a lot smarter than most people think he was. Would have been honored to shake his hand!!!

I saw him in 90 at the Los Angeles sports arena. His energy lit the place up I turned to my friend and said I can't believe it's really him. A true champion in the ring and outside the ring.

During his final speech he came as Jim Hellwig and left as Jim Hellwig without the mask. He used the mask during his last promo to make a difference between himself and the caracter of UW. During his final days, Warrior saved his legacy for the love of his family before dying...it's called redemption. Thank you Ultimate Warrior for the inspiration.

Legendary intensity, wasnt just a gimmick

Warrior has the kind of charisma and power that even outgoing people shut up and listen. Passionate, intense and you can really sense how much he cared about inspiring others to do better in life

"You're looking at it all wrong, learn to love the stuff that's hard not the stuff that is easy. Build up your integrity in a way that you like to do things that are hard." This is so true to my next step and just a sliver of why this may be one of my favorite videos.

Do not aspire to be like others, aspire to be your self.

The WWF guys who say he wasn’t qualified to be a motivational speaker are outing themselves as ignorant elitists. They take for granted their upbringing in educated families with access to mentors. In reality, his message is just right for many kids growing up the way he describes.

39:00-40:30 when he says he wants so much for us, he wants us to be great. We need to here this, cause I bet most of us don't even here this from our parents. Warrior became our Dad here, inspiring us to be better! To do great!

Thirty plus years later and now I understand the Ultimate Warrior's character.

"If you want something bad enough then you'll find the time. You dont need 8 hours of sleep a night." Warrior

You know what I will say this. As a kid he was like a comic book character come to life. Something out of a fantasy novel or movie. But this talk he just gave is more realistic did any character he ever played in a wrestling ring. And more real than anything that you can learn it in a classroom. Very encouraging and very down to earth! I appreciate this guy!

This was such an AMAZING, TRUTHFUL speech! What an incredible drive this man had! And he could not be more correct about working out. The adrenaline, endorphins, satisfaction and confidence it gives someone is impossible to describe unless you do it

I actually purchased this video when I was at a really low point in my life. His sincerity and philosophy helped a lot. Wish he were still around because he'd have a great career as a speaker, podcast guest and author.

I’m only 22 but the Warriors speech really has given me a glutinous motivation to keep moving forward and keep doing what I believe in. I wish I could’ve seen him on the ring but the fact that he can still motivate me to keep pushing myself after all these years says so much of the man he “used to be.”

Thank you for releasing this in its entirety. Time passes so quickly when listening or watching these speeches because of his way with great intensity and passion. I of course was struck when he mentioned: “you should be an author, you should be a writer...” Boy, I sure listened to my gut instinct on that. 💙🙏🏻 I also loved his message about being spiritual and how personal for him sharing intimate details regarding Kerry Von Erich and their friendship. The soul and spirit is who we all truly are. Warrior was/still is indeed a great orator and storyteller. What a honor to be present and hear him. Many thanks once again Steve. His sincerity and intensity is infectious!! The wrestlers in the 80’s early 90’s hulk, macho, flair, taker, jake had more charisma than anyone on the current wwe roster combined. True

One of my all time favorites, I met him after his Hogan match in 1991 at the San Antonio airport. I said how’s it going champ, and he said, fine bud!

I love how everyone is so quiet, hanging on every word he says. Everything he says has this unexplainable energy to it. I love it! Warrior lives on!

I continue to watch and re-watch all of Warriors videos, especially when I am having a ‘not so good day ‘…I watch one if his inspirational videos , and BANG !!!….I get all this positive energy in me! No word of a lie! We miss u champ💪💪

I envy everyone in that room who got the chance to experience this man's energy and passion for life. It's one thing to watch a video, but to see and feel firsthand, the intensity of a person baring his soul to you is unbelievably rare. Wish I had been there.

Wow such passion watching him when I was a kid he was my favorite wrestler In the early 90s then he made a come back I believe in 96 I went to a house show in Pittsburgh he was supposed to tag in a 3 man with Shawn micheals Ahmad Johnson but was replaced with sid. I was so disappointed. But when he died I was more disappointed. This speech "enjoy doing the hard things" we need to man up as a society. Great speech the twinkle in our eyes we need to get it back.

Just watched this and I'm blown away how 11 years later you can see this and nurture yourself with everything he said. I loved the part where he asks everyone what he was thinking and nobody participated. That right there is our society, it just listens, it doesn't participate, it doesn't act out to get the best out of something. Of course, our upbringing has a lot to do with it, but also the education, it should empower kids to get out there take action. Thank you so much for sharing this LEGENDARY UNKNOWN, Warrior has been inspiring me lately since I thought about him and started going on a long time search of all he did and said.

It's like he continues to inspire and make his presence known in this realm even after his passing. I'm 32 and just recently became a fan of The Ultimate Warrior years too late. Watching him on the old WrestleMania episodes, Ultimate Warrior gave me goosebumps every time he ran down the ramp like a shooting star and interacted with the crowd from afar. Hell, even the things he'd say in character were amazing. In recent years, I've been struggling to find my way in life. I felt stuck and was fighting an internal battle to either accept it or to actually do the work to do better. This interview showed up as if he had given an answer from beyond the grave. Jim Hellwig truly was a larger than life person, and I wish I could have met him. Thank you Ultimate Warrior. Thank you Jim Hellwig. You're surely missed, RIP.

Warrior as a kid growing up in the UK had the biggest impact on my life, his larger than life persona , he was the ultimate man, the real life super hero you aspired to. 30 years later I'm still pumping iron still chasing dreams and I even stepped inside the squared circle!my absolute hero

Compare this to all the other ‘talks’ wrestlers give. All the ones are so quick to talk shit about warrior but meanwhile all they have to say are stories about themselves during their glory days. Warrior used his time to make others better. Big difference.

Hell of a talk on Christmas morning

I wonder how many thought they were going to hear Ultimate Warrior wrestling stories. How many were pissed because they did not hear what happened between him and WCW in 98 and the One Warrior Nation storyline with Deciple.

This cements one of the reasons why I’ve learned more about public speaking from wrestlers than any class I’ve taken.

As much as I like the Ultimate warrior, I like The actual man Jim Hellwig even more. I love listening to his energetic, alpha male, no bs philosophy. What a great speaker.

His blood pressure must have gone through the roof here. Very intense man. Loved him as a kid and owned his action figure. Missed seeing him at Summerslam at Wembley which is a regret of mine.

You can see it in his face The Ultimate Warrior oozing out of him, all that power and energy and intensity. I would say I'm amazed at The Ultimate Warrior's performance of a normal human being. I believe this guy is the character, and the true person is The Warrior.

This was beyond amazing to watch! It's amazing how so many people were jealous of this guy, because he spoke his mind and he didn't run with the system and he took no crap from anyone! Listen to what Warrior is telling you everyone and see the genius within you, because we are all capable of doing great things and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I truly believe though that Jim was murdered by the sick twisted people who really run this world because he truly wasn't afraid to speak his mind and he never backed down from anyone. O.W.N!
