@@ucbucb30 Tim Hardaway was a 5 time All Star and was a 5 time All NBA selection and he isn't in the HOF which is crazy to me.. I believe Klay is a Hall of Famer but not sure if hes first ballot if his career was judged where it stands right now..

ACL 20 years ago was like a career ending injury. Now, it only takes a season to recover fully most of the time. Human body can only heal so fast, but I'm sure we can further reduce the severity of an Achilles tear.

@Lit Pat look at the bright side. These guys at least make it to the league and make the money. From the 60's to the 00's there are guys who had far less serious injuries that couldn't be properly addressed the way they do now. Those guy's got injured in high school and college and never made a dollar. There are guys who made it to the league but were a shell of themselves and people never knew how good they really were. Injuries are apart of the game

@eLKy 15 It wasn't early at all.Sometimes bad things happen, a bad break can't be what defines whether the process was wrong or not. Practically everything you do in life carries some sort of risk, we do what we can to minimize those risks, but we can't just not do something at all just because there's a risk involved, cause you know, we have to actually live life.

@@sidhantbinani339 Rose is a different player than Klay. Rose relies on his athleticism Klay doesn't. Klay is a shooter Rose isn't. They have different play styles. Klay is a spot up shooter. He doesn't need to put much stress in his legs than Rose do. Klay and his trainers just have to be smart and patient in the future.

Klay Thompson such an amazing shooter and he makes the game so exciting for the game everytime he steps onto the court and puts on that and this really hurts me that he will not get to play the game that he loves which is basketball and this is very hard for an fan and it’s not easy to get an injury halfway through your career and it can really affect you in a negative way Steph is going to be lamenting that his teammate Klay is not playing this year with him on the basketball court and he is a really nice and genuine guy. This really makes me sad there are so many words that are used to define Klay which are inspirational, talented and I will definitely miss him and how much he meant to the warriors franchise

As much as he has accomplished, Klay had just turned 29 when he suffered his major injury during the Finals vs. Toronto. He just begun the "prime period" of his NBA career. And then just when he was ready to restart his career after missing last season, he suffers another major injury. That's really tough luck, sand and painful. I remember my favorite player back in the day, Penny Hardaway, going through a hellish career-ridden NBA career just soon after reaching superstar status and proving himself in the NBA Finals. I hope Klay doesn't suffer the same fate.

I already wasn't optimistic that Klay could return to form just from the knee injury. Now you add an achilles injury, I hate to say it, but Klay is done as we know him. You've all seen what happened to Cousins. And to all those expecting great things from the Nets - KD's career is done too. He probably could still average 18 a game, but he won't be blowing by opponents anymore.

He said one thing that wasn't true. Yeah, playing in the NBA always is always a lot of pressure, but last season team didn't fall apart because there was no pressure at all.
