FINALLY a mapleshade video that shows her getting killed from the back of the neck. i could’ve sworn that was how they described it in the book and i always wonder why people don’t do that! this looks great!
Well, to be completely fair. She got the scar on her neck but survived for like TWO seconds until Myler came and brang her to a barn and tried to save her
I really love how Mapleshade's death isnt the end of her story. Most would consider it a failure at least, but she and the readers she it as her getting stronger, and even more powerful. The way shes perceived in the dark forest is amazing.
Reasons I love Mapleshade 1. She did what she set out to do 2. Her personality 3. She was chill about being sent to cat hell Reasons I love this PMV 1. It clearly shows what Mapleshade is doing and the characters are recognizable 2. The artwork and general animation is beautiful and flows with the song perfectly 3. It is accurate to the book
Crazy that it isn't even an animation, well I don't think because it says pmv (picture moving video) I guess it's slightly easier but the shading and the colours, THE CHARACTER DESIGN IS BEAUTIFUL! SORRY FOR MESSAGING LIKE 3YRS LATE 😭
Don't get me wrong I love all the mapleshade animations everyone has done but so far your video is the only one I've seen that includes the bite mark on her neck in the right spot rather than her throat, I don't know why it makes me happy that you put it in the right spot ;u; amazing art work it Is beautiful
Am I the only one who feels bad for Mapleshade *before* she joins the Dark Forest? Maybe I should be slapping myself for saying this, I haven't even read Mapleshade's Vengeance xD. Also by the way, I love how Appledusk's(?) death goes along with the beat, like he collapses as the music makes a _bang_ noise.

Mapleshade is One of My favorite Characters Because: 1. She is one of The only Female Villians 2. Her backstory explains her reasons for being a villian 3. She is Just - ( chefs kiss )
This is gorgeous. The design you have for Maple Shade is honestly my favourite so far, perfect amount of asymmetry and I like the touch of having the black on her face serve as a line for the eyes to naturally follow. The anatomy is stunningly well thought out and I can tell you took a lot of time to master your art and editing skills. Just. Wow. Found my inspiration to keep drawing, thanks~! .. I just wish I had seen this a year earlier when it came out.
I saw a comment saying how this was created by a 13 year old. I called my mom into the room, showed her a few seconds of the pmv, and asked her how old this person was to her according to their art, and they said about 20. When I told her they were 13 she was impressed lol

I love how dangerous and badass this makes her look, it really shows her as a villain which completely suits her style/vibe after ending up in the dark forest!
of course she is, i didn't mean to be rude at all, she has a unique artstyle, but mapleshade's pelt reminded me of the noodlers, i'm not saying it's exactly the same and it's not a bad thing i mean i get my inspirations for my drawings in videos sometimes as well!
Your PMVs are the best as you match up your beautiful artwork and fluent timing with the right song that reflects the charecters situation!!!! I LOVE IT!
OML, I love everything that you do. And, other than the Ivypool PMV that you made, this is definitely my favorite. Also, am I the only one that thinks the song used for this would be a good Hawkfrost theme?
