I used to love customizing my avatar with all my unlockables and switching them depending on my mood. Most of the time it was that left 4 dead 2 medkit 😅
This is my favourite overall Guitar Hero game, with the full DLC catalogue and the exports it’s an amazing experience - 715 songs total on Xbox 360! Neversoft really gave it their all for one last game, I’m so glad they did what they did here.
The trick to beating the final boss on Expert, don’t use the useless warriors on the 2nd song. Use the useless warriors on the 1st song, and use the useful warriors on the 2nd song to make it easier to earn enough power stars without failing the battle.
Kind of a black sheep of the guitar hero series but man is the song list is full of absolute gems. I had never heard of Strung Out and their song Calling before playing but it became of staple of my music playlists afterwards even to this day.
@@spoople_doople You're right. It's actually not that bad. It's basically a more poppy version of Guitar Hero 5, but some of the songs in the setlist are just so perfect and nostalgic. The visuals are also really pleasing, and the lighting and character outfits really help to create its own distinct style.
Knowing that there's achievements no longer obtainable makes me very glad I got every achievement on WoR when it came out, actually it's the only gh I have em all
Great to see you back with more Guitar Hero achievements! Hit me at any time if you need help with any achievement of any one in the series or rock band!
Yay Warriors of Rock! Me and my best mate love playing this one together, also I'd just like to thank you for all of your videos on Guitar Hero, you've inspired me to pick up the game again and try grinding for the achievements. Looking forward to GH2 and Metallica videos!!
I started with Guitar Hero 3 as it's my favourite in the series, currently got 20/59 achievements but I've hit a wall at the end of the hard career. Just gotta keep practicing more I guess haha I've been going for achievements in WOR, GH2 and World Tour as well, but again I've got most of the easier ones unlocked at the moment nothing crazy. Been really enjoying seeing the myself get better at the game though! Next achievements I'm going to try is the co-op note streak achievements in GH3 next time my friend is in town. Thanks again for these amazing videos! Might have to give Aerosmith a go as well seems like it might fit my current skill level a bit better. :)
Speeding by Steve Vai is one of my most hated songs on Warriors of Rock because no matter how hard I try I cannot hit it. Give me Dragonforce any day. Keep up the fantastic work, dude. Looking forward to the video detailing the impossible to obtain GH achievements due to server shutdowns, just to put these games to rest once and for all.
By this point, they got so out there with guitar hero that it becomes almost unrecognisable from the classics! Great video mate, looking forward to watching your GH2 video.. JForJordan pending!
Great watch, thanks for making it! If you plan to do more GH content in the future I'd reccommend turning on hyperspeed. I struggled with some of the later tier songs on Expert but found that using hyperspeed made it easier to dechiper the patterns of the tricky solos.😊
To me this was the best GH game it had a bunch of freakin awesome songs and a ton of them plus then there was DLC, man it was fantastic. it had all the best parts of all the GH games
The best thing this game did for me in recent years was getting me into Strung Out. Their guitarist is just insane. Even did a full album clone hero chart for Exile In Oblivion as well as their Punk Goes Metal cover of Bark At the Moon (you thought the original was hard, their version cranks it up to 190 bpm and essentially turns it into a thrash metal song). Insane stuff all around
a thing that might help you out imo, is using hyperspeed, probably hyperspeed 2 or 3, its not too fast and its not too slow, for some reason for me at elast, jsut makes me be able to hit notes easier haha
Best setlist hands down, even including my favorite song of all time Tick Tick Boom by The Hives, the only other game you can play that song is Lego Rock Band of all games. Lol XD random.
The best way to get Power Stars in Quickplay+ for almost every song is to use Star Power Generator and Star Power Nova. If the song has any note density and you're able to hold a streak well, you can get 20 stars that way instead of the 15 from the setup you were using, and knocking out an additional 5 stars per song would reduce the grind a fair bit.
I’m pretty sure someone in twitter recently posted a ghtunes save for warriors of rock (sorry I don’t remember who), pretty sure I downloaded it and should have quite a lot of songs (assuming you’re willing to use something like horizon to resign the save to use it on your profile)
6:57 man, I remember Avatar Awards. What a hidden gem of the console. Also, 19:57 would this be possible with accounts on one hard drive? I.E. can you target "your mom's" score on a song if "her" account is also on that console?
Because of you I had to get all the achievements in CoD 2...... Wow it was tough lol worth it though and then immediately after got the all in CoD 3 LOL
Dunno if you'll see this, but in interviews they actually said they intended with this game to appeal to the more skilled crowd, trying to include more difficult songs overall!!
The hand mutilator achievement is literally the one doing me from getting the platinum award, i'm s drummer bit a guitarist, My fingers don't move that fast
@@JForJackPlays I just got back into the and honestly Even thought it's been years, I've noticed My skills have improved marginally, noticable bit bit enough for hand mutilator.... I'll trade you skills for a week You get the drum skills I get the guitar
Hey can anyone tell me where they’re getting good guitar hero guitars from ?? I just recently looked online and they’re going for over 300$ used and I don’t even know if they actually work or not 😅 anyone have any suggestions?
I personally think Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero had the best overall character designs in the whole franchise. They looked the most polished, detailed and realistic.
