My greatest GH3 achievement was coming home drunk and forgetting I couldn't do Knights of Cydonia on hard, then finding I'd completed it, the next day.
The fact this dude is willing to put himself through such pain just for content and 100%'ing shows this guy has balls, really gotta respect this absolute chad for going through all of this just for this

Good shit to you and Ollie for getting those insane co-op achievements, and that amount of dedication towards boosting the online achievements is insane, but super admired. GG on another one down, can't wait to see your next upload! On a separate note, having a third and final short tribute video to GH3, where you and Ollie vs eachother in the online on facecam together would be pretty fun to watch if you ever wanted to do that, not necessarily your regular content, but a cool small video idea nonetheless
Haha that is a nice idea! I definitely want to tackle some of the later GH games but realistically won't be getting ALL of the achievements.. so could do something like that to add a bit more content to the videos. Will have a think! and thanks, glad you enjoy them!

I really enjoyed these videos. I too had completed all achievements in this game, but it was years and years ago when it was still popular and active. It was such a fun time.
Activision should give you a bounty for 100% ing this game's achievements. Seriously one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. Me and my buddy were both very good at this game and we never even dreamed of getting every achievement.
Ive gotten completely back into guitar hero after my best friend came thru while I was visiting my hometown and we hit the 1mil achievement in coop in GH2 effectively completing that game off my achievement list after 11 or so years! Now we’re tackling GH3 and I gotta say… this is easily one of the absolute best achievement videos I’ve ever seen and the sheer difficulty of this completion is immense! Awesome to see the sacrifice you’ve made for these 2 videos and completion! I salute you my legend!
This video brought back some good memories. I put several thousand hours into GH3 😅 Wish that I could find a Guitar controller, id get back into the game in a heartbeat
I remember dragging my friend to my house so many times to knock out all these coop achievements. I was good enough to carry us to 5 stars on the expert songs. The one that gave the biggest trouble was the 1 million points on coop. There wasn't any DLC to play, so we opted for One with me on expert and him on medium. I remember being so frustrated that these couldn't be done online haha
Oh man if I'd have known you were doing these I'd have happily fired up the old 360 and busted some of these out with you, looking at your gameplay I'd say I'm around the same skill level, but you've just motivated me to bust it out anyway 😂 awesome videos man
Guitar Hero 3 had a huge impact on my music preferences. 'Holiday In Cambodia' has been stuck in my head for about 15 years. 😅 So cool you had Ollie to co-op with you. Sent me down memory lane with this one! Great content as always.

Well done to you on FC’ing GH3. I’ve been re-playing some of the GH games lately on the Xbox 360, but wouldn’t dream of setting out to achievement hunt on any of these games. I can make it through (sometimes barely) pretty much all songs on expert, but usually 4 stars is my ceiling on the hardest songs.
Oh and by “pretty much” all songs on expert, I meant to exclude Through the Fire and Flames (ever, ever)-- And I am currently stuck on Raining Blood and One (thought I did beat these two songs when I was a kid). I did beat GH2 on expert (relatively quickly), Smash Hits and Band Hero. Waiting to take on World Tour, GH5, and Warriors of Rock for future days… But again, I am considering just beating expert good enough for me. I tip my cap 🧢 to you for FC’ing all achievements in GH3… Seriously, what amazing skill, perseverance, and dedication.
Awesome video.. I respect the hell out of the dedication. Last summer I played through every single guitar hero and rock band including all track packs and the only one I couldn't beat on expert was GH3. I just never could beat Raining Blood. I practiced and practiced over and over, but I only was able to get out of the hell raining blood section or whatever ONCE (failed immediately after due to panic...) Any tips? Also, any tips for Through the Fire and the Flames?
Good work on the Achievement FC; a well deserved one after all the trouble you've gone through for it. It was also my dream to earn every achievement on every Guitar Hero and Rock Band game but, sadly at the time, I sucked and by the time I became somewhat decent people moved on and the series became dormant. Proud of you, Jack, and congratulations!

I’m a very play guitar hero one on the ps2 the game was what got me in to rock and metal and at 17 I started playing guitars that was when I stoped playing guitar hero games
I remember just not being able to 5star raining blood. So I used to pick raining blood every time online as it’s a quick song for the 500 wins and needed practice for the 5 star
i've been playin gh3 on my wii and was happy to just complete that hard mode solo. not sure if i'm happy or devastated that there aren't achievements on wii because if there were i'd totally try and get them all.
I just got into achievement hunting on my 360 again recently, with GH3/ GH:WT/ GH:WoR. this video made me realize just how much dedication im gonna have to have to commit 😭
I remember trying to get the 1 million points in coop with my friend on Free Bird and he would just get absolutely pissed at me because I'd mess up some small part randomly. Almost was a friendship ender lol.
@@JForJackPlays I highly recommend playing it , story line is incredible and the amount of detail added to such an old game is remarkable. Every achievement is enjoyable, plus one of the hardest achievements ever made is added onto the game :)
Fun fact: less people on trueachievements have the hard duo achievement making it the rarest one in the game. Guess people figured to go straight for expert lol
This is actually something i've kinda considered!! There's an achievement in GH Smash Hits for getting 4* on TTFAF expert so i'll most likely try cover that in a video on the game and go from there

I just got one more achievement to go and that's for the 500 wins. I helped my boosting partner get theirs last night and I need about 100 more wins.. the 5* on co-op are the most annoying achievements because they have to be done local and not online.
The 750,000 points achievement is brutal as well and imo nearly impossible except for the %1 of players if it wasn't for the song "All Nightmare Long" That song atleast makes that achievement obtainable for above average players. Sadly the song is no longer available for purchase on the store since 2015 and you need to either profile share with someone who has the game that will let you license their profile to your console or you need an RGH console that lets you run unsigned (Pirated ) DLC. Fortunately for me I bought the death magnetic album back in 2010 when GH:Metallica came out.
Absolutely, I'm not sure I would have the dedication to practice TTFAF enough for 750k. Seems crazy. Nicely done though, you'll have the 100% really soon!
@@JForJackPlays I can tap the intro and outro to ttfaf consistent my problem with dragonforce songs in general is the fast strumming rhythm sections I just haven't figured out the bpm / tempo to stay consistent at holding my combo on those sections and that's what filters me from 5* in the song on expert little alone getting 750k. I"ve had a few close 5* runs which is a shame because I can 5* the devil went down to georgia DLC but not ttfaf.

Only the lead profile getting the co-op achievements is evil. Reminds of when me my brother played this Shrek game on Xbox and there weren't many achievements but they were all worth like 100 gamer score and only the lead profile got the gamerscore. So stupid.
Definitely more guitar hero. Have started recording GH2 but might take a while.. need a break! Rock Band i highly doubt i can 100%, but could do a video on it still.. im open to anything though really! Will have a think and look into them for sure

It's been 3-5yrs since trying but I think I only got like 186000 on a good run, but that beginning and last 1/4 I just can't keep a combo for good points.. and I can't consistently get past the beginning solo lmao
Why wasnt the achievement there where you have to get a 100% on the intro part of through the fire and the flames on expert? I cant be the only one who remembers this!?
Definitely planning on doing some sort of GOW video.. problem is the 'seriously' achievements.. will never 100% those games. Could just do the insane campaign + other bits though I guess
I can't remember much about GH5, i'll get a video done on it someday... but until then, I imagine it's going to be some pretty boring advice, just lots of practice! I'm not sure what the achievements are like on it to be honest. Is that the one with the annoying 4x of each instrument achievement?
I started recording that a few months ago. Need to rope Ollie back in for coop and then finish up some expert bits. Will see if I can pass Jordan 🤞 Planning on gh2 and gh Aerosmith as the next music games though!
