i am french and honestly i do not care if WO have a chinese/japanese background what i care is to play a good game with a lot of fun. that's all :) and this game is a a good hack and slash. And by the way if you want to get all the playable main and put them all lvl 100 it will take you MMONNTTHHSSSS ! What is good in my mind. and the endless 3 main combo x 170 playable main is just endless. You can almost change each main each 10 minutes and never get the same feeling when you fight if you change your team all the time. That is again : VERY good.
If people played WO3U before , this is a massive no to get this game. The story is very scripted as well and the season pass didn’t offer anything at all too. Would rather play WO3U than this , its a decent game at best.
Dynasty Warriors is more of a franchise in the west since 2000's, what's killing their franchise is not the foreign history which is great, but the baby steps forward KT takes after releasing each iteration. Let's not discuss DW9.
From the States and dynasty warriors is what got me to buy and read the Romance of the Three Kingdoms books. Such a great story and worth reading if you haven't.
It's nice to lock on to officers but the musous are made much weaker and there's no enemy variety or density in infinity, whacking pots just ain't it is it. I don't think they'll ever make game better than 3
I hadn't played the game prior to Ultimate's release but I enjoy it. I bought the deluxe edition for the early access to characters that likely appear late in the game like Kyubi for example.
I personally got it on the ps4 because I won’t play a warriors style of game portably anyways (the mini map is too small) but it’s on all platforms. I heard there’s certain frame rate issues on the switch though so I’d be careful of that.
Is the ultimate version physical edition just the vanilla version disk with a dlc code? Since I’m trying to see unboxing videos for the ultimate version.
yes this video is helpful. thank you. I like the original IPs. I'm playing Samurai Warriors 5 right now and I love it. I only have a couple of others and even though I did grow up with Zelda and I have the Hyrule Warriors, that one is not as fun and interesting to me. I do play it but not nearly as much. I love the history and enjoy learning about the different cultures and my wife does as well.
"WO4 Ultimate" most likely to be as an expansion version of WO4. They put some alternate endings with some new playable characters and some new modes too.
I not Chinese or Japanese and I love the dynasty warrior's samurai warrior's and warrior's orochi series. Warrior's orochi 4 ultimate was great as fare as i am concerned. But I don't agree with them making the dlc expansion $40 . I done well considering I waited for the ultimate version of the game.
I believe this game isn't about profit and the only stand out in our time that cares for the minority who support this series even tho they pulled a cash grab with their ultimate upgrade for warriors orochi 4 I forgive them and it's been confirmed that 5 is currently in development and I'm hyped for the next 10 years
What competition? Fire Emblem Musou and Hyrule Warriors are no competition for the original Koei Musou titles. Unless you really really like both Musou games and the games those spin-off's are based upon, it's not such an enjoyable experience than the oroginal titles. For example, i deem Spirit of Sanada a huge success and i loved it. I enjoy the original Fire Emblem and Legend of Zelda titles, but i can't bring myself my to enjoy the Musou spin-off's, no matter how much i like the original Koei titles. If you are talking about the Switch alone it's a different story, in the west at least. Because in Japan they do have Samurai Warriors on the Switch and i have no problem playing such games on the PSP and PSVita.
I'll make sure they have enough money because I'll continue to throw money on every musou game out there especially orochi istg it's been the brightest part of my life when things were really dark, I'd go back home and smack a thousand men to steam off and I know there are a ton of people who have sweet memories playing musou games
