During WW2 Warsaw wasn't 'damaged by German bombing'. It was demolished by the Germans. The Germans had puttem explosives in most of the buildings and they’ve demolished them. The rest of the damaged was caused during the 2 Warsaw Uprisings, bombings and Germans testing their experimental weapons. About 80% of the city was turned into a wasteland as the result of this.
@@wanderslust1781 No, bombings are pretty normal part of fighting and war. Germans razed it to the ground as an act of revenge and punishemnt, purely out of spite, because of the Warsaw Uprising, as an attempt to eradicate Polish culture.
Hard to take seriously a film in which the speaker butchers the names of the various places he describes. Not one of the best ones I’ve seen and rather annoying. Fast forward through most. The pics were done well though
