Lol I thought it was genius.....I have been at the center so many times over 20 years for the yearly dental convention.. Surprised there was so few people

Oh it would have been so cool to meet ya! I was soooo tempted to go with that look, fellow weirdo. I mostly didn’t because the ear options I had (from Amazon) were limited and I didn’t love the quality, as I had been sorting it all out 2 weeks out. Yeah, I was a bit surprised how few people there were. I was glad I checked the map the night before, to get a reality check of the size. I still had a good time.

Very cool!!! I wish I could visit more cons. That being said, I do go to DragonCon here in Atlanta. Been going to this every year now for the last 10 years now. They're on during Labor Day weekend. The artist alley and vendor hall is huge! And the cosplay... 🤯🤯 Y'all should go one year. It's massive but all encompassing. Thanks for sharing!

I'm so glad we got to meet up, it's probably the highlight of my summer :). I'm going to check out your Rose City Comic Con video for comparison, but I'm glad we got to dip our toe into a smaller con to start with. I love Vander's Wands! That was one we walked by instead of taking a closer look, since we have wands from Universal - but I regret that now. The handles are so unique and beautiful! At first, I thought $100+ for one wand was crazy, but seeing those, I understand. I also wish I'd gotten those dragon earrings and necklace at 23:39! Do you happen to remember the name of that artist? (I don't think I saw it in the video, but I could have missed it)

Awwww, that makes me so happy!!!! It was a pleasure meeting up with you too, Alex! The last wand maker was the most impressive to me. His were even pricier but he actually did the metalwork, where the one I first featured didn't but plans to. I follow a really amazing wand maker from Germany that does the wood and metal work, and hope to get a custom wand from him one day. OOooo I don't but I can check the exhibitors list on the site to see if any ring a bell!

Did you not stay for any of the panels or karaoke? I was pleasantly surprised by the cosplay karaoke! My favorite shop was Cypress & Cedar. They had a gorgeous Weasley clock that I had to have! It’s their first ever event and I was super impressed. Hope to see them and you at future events 😊

I was not impressed or interested in the panels. But I'm used to bigger cons and I expected a little more to be 'broughten,' per say (hehe) to those. And never in my life will I do karaoke 😂 That would be like punishment for me. So no. Looking at everything available at the con, I was only interested in artist alley. I am, however, hoping Jason Isaacs does a panel at Rose City Comic Con, since he was announced to be a guest there. Wait were you there at this con?

Yes I was there! I definitely wouldn’t sing, but I enjoyed those that did and most were pretty great. I had never been to a con, and have always been overwhelmed by the idea of going to Rose City comic con so LeakyCon was right up my diagonalley 😅. Both Bonnie Wright and Catherine Tate were excellent. I just finished listening to Tom Felton’s book and he mentioned Jason Issac’s portrayal of Lucius as astounding, so a panel could be interesting. I might attempt Rose City this year, we’ll see 🤗
