Most importantly CJ was not injured. People don't realize how expensive it is to build a car most racers don't have a lot of money. They just bust their asses. to get their cars done and ready. Keep your head up CJ you'll be back.

You will be back stronger with your program cause you learn from accidents like this. I have followed the journey from a far for awhile now. When I initially saw this there was a ball of ice in my gut, and my heart dropped a couple of stories down. I am so incredibly grateful to see that C.J. is in one piece with only a couple of bumps, bruises, and perhaps a mild concussion... but could have been so much worse. C.J. and family, all of you are in my and my families prayers. I pray that Raggedyanne gets the repairs she will need and see her back in action sooner rather than later. Sorry to hear about your car CJ! I’m glad you’re safe and can build back better. Safety and ppe is so important. You’re a perfect example of thinking ahead of time for when things go bad. At that point you better pray that your welds hold up and everything does its job. I know it’s going to take some time but I’m looking forward to seeing what you build next. I broke my foot last year lost house job closed down daughter had me arrested on probation now witch is super expensive and trying to fix another medical issue I have witch has not allowed me to return to work so I watch yours and many other videos to keep me from losing my mind and just do my best every day to keep moving forward ❤ love y'all one step at a time one day at a time
First I’m very sorry but so grateful that CJ is ok and fine. Jess you’re an amazing person and your support for your family and the sport we all love is truly remarkable!! I'm sorry about your car. Now you have a reason to build something bigger and badder. Your still alive & in one piece. Thank your lucky stars for that. So you can rebuild. I received a catastrophic spinal cord injury in a crash. I rebuilt a car I can't even drive... crazy I know
Man I know what it's like to wreck a sports bike when you have a lot of time and money put into it but nothing on this scale this really has to suck hopefully you guys pull through and can rebuild better than ever

Man I can’t speak for everyone, but like to WATCH C.J. Race. Results are just a part of it. Of course I love to see him win but there are so many fast cars now that nothing is guaranteed. So good race craft, good sportsmanship and being there to compete make me a fan. Hate to see the car torn up but Im glad everyone is ok and I hope to see yall on the starting line again.
that's my biggest fear in street racing verses track, the things on the side of the road like trees , power poles, fences, etc are killers , no barriers and way to much stuff to hit on the streets

For someone to make a comment like that definitely speaks on their character..This shit happens it's a part of racing, it only opens other doors for the future..You guys are great people keep up the Hard work
I think they were probably referring more to how everybody jumped in donating time, parts, etc. after the last crash. But I believe it is all out of plain jealousy and not having that kind of support in what they love. Guys like CJ, the SRC family, and Turbo John are the racers we can relate with... the family involvement and how they work for what they have, instead of the big money teams that have everything at their disposal and money is all that matters. True fans have a greater appreciation for the normal guy/family; who do it for the joy and wanting to be the best with what they have.

Hate to see this happen. Thank the lord that you didn’t get hurt. It’s frustrating. I know what it’s like to wreck your race car. I’ve crashed a couple myself and it really hurts. The blood, sweat, tears that goes into your hobby. Best of luck with the rebuild.

That really bites. Losing the car in the middle of the season. If I wasn't in the middle of two builds I would load up the motor home and come up from TN and help in anyway I could if you needed it.
I am so sorry CJ. I been following you since you began you tube. So I seen what you been through with both cars. Its heartbreaking for sure. I am so glad you had only a few injuries. God the second look at that. He is so damn lucky he has no injuries besides obviously the pride but that goes with all types of racing when u have a accident. Just so how well he built that car. May not look flashy but its as safe as any other car racing.

I hate to tell you, but if you’re testing your car and that populated of a residential area you’re in the wrong there’s a lot of places, especially in Ohio that you can go and test your car in the middle of nowhere where you won’t even hit a mailbox all you’re gonna hit is a tree

I have mad respect for CJ. He goes without so he can race. I love how people think you have money just because you have a race car. Without a sponsor it’s usually the opposite. I sold my G-Body to buy another Race Car that has more potential than any of my cars in the past. This economy is making guys sell ready to race vehicles that is normally not for sale without spending Big money. I’m buying a race car that cost more than my first house. It’s Turn key, ready to race. The guy could not afford to go racing anymore without his family suffering because of it. I have never bought a ready to race car before, I always had to build my cars because of money. I even had to assemble my engines after the machine shop work was done. I even learned how to port match heads to my intakes. Learning this stuff was great for me, because I really got to know my cars. I hate to see a guy like CJ have to basically start over. I believe I would look for a roller, not sure that Foxbody will ever track straight again even if he gets everything pulled out with a frame machine. Sorry this happened to CJ. I pray he gets everything straightened out and has a fast hot rod again. 🇺🇸🦅🏁
@@raggedyannohiosmalltire2329 I called Mike Lough Racing engines to have him build me a 6.2 to run twin turbos. I’m 56yrs old. His LS6.2 was more than my first house. I know he does so tricks with the oiling system. But I can’t afford his engine. If anything breaks I would be done for the season. I have a local shop that has an old guy that has built circle track engines for 30 years. They built my AMC 401 in my race Jeep. He did some trick stuff to the oiling system in my 401. I never had an issue. They sent those big 401 heads out to be ported. My CJ5 spent more time on the bumper. I had to make a set of wheelie bars. I’m going to see if they have any tricks for a LS, BigDogs porting out of Chicago does amazing things with Porting. Tony’s special is SBF heads. He takes the early 90’s GT40 heads out of an explorer. Watch BigDogs Porting on RU-vid and FB. He makes the factory GT40 heads flow better than any aftermarket aluminum heads for $699. Buy his cam and lifters he installs the springs. In the heads. No core charge. Tony also will port your heads if you send him your heads. He sells new AFR SBF heads and works his magic. He will port match your intake to the heads if you send him the intake. I drove a Foxbody that was stock. We did some Dyno pulls and only charged the heads to his Iron GT40. Only charges we made. That car picked up 71hp just with his porting. He said if we port matched the intake, added his cam,lifters and springs we would see 175hp with the Iron GT40 heads stock bottom end. He builds a lot of SBF Nitrous engines. If you never worked with Tony before you should holler at him on FB messages. You may be leaving Horsepower on the table CJ. He builds most of the SBF Foxbody street cars around Chicago. I found Tony from my buddy that runs a SBF Scatt 347 Stroker block in his Race Jeep. We race 300ft in sand. The SBF was the lightest engine he could find. He runs a 2 kit Nitrous system. He had Tony build him a set of Ported AFR heads, he sent his intake up to have it port matched, and bought the nitrous cam that Tony recommended. He went from a middle of the pack Jeep to something that can win on any day. He gaps BBC Jeeps now with his little 347 Stroker SBF. I believe he runs 200 shot on the first kit and 300 on the second kit. With both Kits he is making about 950-1,000hp. But it’s super easy to tune. His head Porting is key. If you plan to tear your motor down you should reach out to Tony. I have see the difference his porting makes. You can run your engine over to the south side of Chicago and have him do everything. I believe last we talked he was 4-6 weeks out. If you just want a stage 2 (Street), or a Stage 3 (Full Race Porting). Best money you will spend on your engine. CJ I have nothing to do with BigDogs Porting, I have just seen the difference his Stage 3 Race Port makes on SBF motors. If you are leaving 50-100hp on the table it’s worth talking to Tony. He usually only talks through FB Messenger until he gets to know you. Good luck buddy 🇺🇸🦅🏁🔧

I got a little headache and my elbow hurts a little.. But he'll have that engine out tonight prolly And on the rack tomorrow I've worked on a rack And pulled my racecar out ..
