You ladies are so polite to each other and helpful. It warms me heart to see your happiness and kidding around which makes your thrifting more fun. Kudos!
In my younger days l sold at the flea market every Sunday. I enjoyed sourcing at yard sales, and meeting other vendors, and customers. The bad part was getting up at 3AM. I am happy that you made good profit. I also would like to thank you for how quickly you sent the salt and pepper shakers l ordered.
Yep selling at a flea market or garage/yard sale is really hard work but y’all did a great job. At 18:26 Laura picked up the green glass candlestick marked MMA. I have a couple of different items with the MMA mark & they are from the Metropolitan Museum of Art Museum Store.
OMG, that cat at 3:55 is adorable! I love it so much. I feel your pain when price labels ruin packaging -- the other day I found 4 packages of watercolor paints from the 50's and the thrift store wrote the price on the middle of the boxes in Sharpie. 😡 A few years back there was a Goodwill around here that went through a phase of writing prices in Sharpie on everything but clothing, including directly onto the wood of antique furniture. I think they got complaints or the manager mandating it/employee quit because that phase only lasted a couple months. 😒
The last Mickey Mouse sheet you looked at was from 1987. K Mart sold them. The 3 marks on the bottom of the Hanger pot are stilt marks. Glazed items are set on little stilts so the piece doesn't stick to the shelf in the kiln while firing.
The Golden Nugget Antiques flea market in nj is a great place. To rent 2 tables the prices range from $20 to $60 depending on day and location. They have a covered pavilion also so you can be out of the sun. Lol 😊
You girls must have had the Best Childhood because the way you Reminisce about your toys is so cute! I grew up in the 60/70s all the toys blinded or otherwise injured us so it is hard for me to relate.
I loved seeing the Holly Hobbie sheets, I had them in the 1970’s. My Mom made homemade curtains out of the sheets too. Great memory of my Mom who I miss so much! ❤️🩹
Anoka is right near me in the Twin Cities. I have done work with their paranormal society too. They are good people and the city has lots of fun haunted locations!
You guys should go and sell at the flea market in watchung mountains. It's at the fire house up washington ave. I think they still have it there. And it's all in the shade.
My daughter had the Peanuts sheets. I loved the glasses. I bought two the other day that have a nice weight and it looks like silver leaves. Just pretty and nice for ice tea. I can’t see a pumpkin now without thinking of both of you! Enjoy your videos.
I think that chain of thrift stores is all sourcing inventory from some main location in Minnesota as I see alot of Minnesota local tshirts at my 2 Unique locations in a different part of NJ. So maybe after the pet shoppe houses were donated they were split up and sent to different locations. I do dishes and occasionally I see the same dishwear pattern in different locations at the same time which is unusual.
Love your reaction to the plush..look up the value of different plush..that clown one for baby sells well on Ebay. I have great luck w cow and sheep plush. I put them on a shelf to enjoy in the short term but sell them all!
I'm so excited that you made $400!! Yes I know that most folks would do better in the cooler months! But that a way to get your items moving and clearing out stuff you like but time to move on.👍🏻😀❤
I sell at a flea market an i love it. I sell at a inside one an a outside one. It has been slow where i am at but i still have fun. I have a few regulars that come see every month. They tell me what they would like me to find an i usually find it. I am glad you enjoyed doing it. Look around for you to sale at a covered place.
I just found your channel and subscribed. Although I don't collect the same items as you (mine are antique jewelry and vanity items), I do like the things you pick up. It was fun watching the fun you had at the thrift store. I was completely shocked when you showed the eBay price of the madball! I used to buy those for my two sons when they were young. They had every single one of those! They also had all the Transformers, HeMan figures, garbage pail kids cards, Stretch Incredible Hulk, My Pet Monster, all the early video games and systems, many, many sets of Legos etc. They kept most of their toys in good condition. I'm sick that I just donated everything when they outgrew it. Now that they're grown with their own sons, they wish they had that stuff! They one little porcelain fat chick doll you picked up (in a bag) was made by the Middleton Doll Co. My mother had that and a few different ones. When she died, I kept it 'cuz it was so cute. Also, I liked your space at the fleamarket. You had nice items. You will enjoy setting up if the weather is cooler. The heat is quite overwhelming and stressfull. Loved your video!
So glad you tried your luck selling at the flea market. Smart idea to get rid of the bulk and breakable items. I would love to sell at our flea market but Chris doesn't want to get up that early lol!!! J/K 😆 Yay for those awesome book finds. I think I may have an old Scooby Doo record like the book you found. Heck yes on finding the Littlest Pet Shop! I need to sell the ones I found still too. I was gonna say Jeannine, if you didn't grab that bag of little Halloween things you could always grab it for your friend here in CA 😉Thanks for taking us along.
If you start doing them more get one of those easy up covers for the booth. That will help alot. Oh. MMA stands for Metropolitan Museum of Art. It's a reproduction I believe (the green candlestick).
Laura, Is the doll you are on the hunt for a Penni Secret doll from 1993? Since you keep looking for one it made me curious so I went to EBay to see what it looks like in the event I come across one in my treasure hunts.
great vid thanks so much for sharing. I have done flea markets a few times and will never do in bad heat waves, I felt your pain!!! not sure if you are close to the golden nugget in lambertville. but I've herd that is really good. Huge fan and so happy to see your channel grow
Wow! I had that pull along boot toy when I was little!!!! I was gonna do a flea market to get rid of some stuff but I CAN’T take that hot weather!!! I wanna go to Elephants Trunk it looks awesome! EDIT: how do you get tags off of paper or cardboard? I got an in PERFECT condition vintage box of shiny brites and of course the sticker is right on front of the box 😞
