I have had the same chilli plant for four years and I can confirm that they develop and flower sooner. This year, due to the constant changes in temperature, it began to sprout but then stopped
I don’t know the temperature, but the ones I lost I could tell got hit with the cold when we had two nights that got in the teens. If I do this in the future, I will need to bring them inside from the garage if it gets that cold again.
I agree. I wish I had a better place to keep them because we had to move them around a lot because of the space we have. That’s why I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it for the hassle I had to go through with them during the winter.
