What have you been reading or hearing? I read the Daily Mail. The attack is not on Catherine, but on her PR people and, even, William for throwing her under the bus. They have said that she didn’t write that note and even didn’t edit that photo. I think you need to hear the entire episode and read the articles.

Sorry, long long before the agencies got involved there were channels and people claiming it was either a total fake (as in AI) or had been photoshopped. It was hours after that that the agencies got involved but there are literally hundreds of claims on RU-vid that it was fake (strange but they all picked up on the alleged manipulations as well).

With the exception of one paper and a couple of RU-vid channels most of the harassment has come from overseas and NOT from the UK - and the Mail have been the ones largely SUPPORTING Catherine and her desire for privacy. Same with the nasty comments on the photo, long before the agencies apparently pulled it there were a lot of RU-vid channels making NEGATIVE comments on the photo (some allegeing it was taken last year, others that it couldn't be real because the sun was shining and it wasn't dull, raining, and the trees weren't bare of leaves and the grass totally dead - some have a very funny idea of the British weather - while the comments sections were full of accusations. It was several hours later that the announcement came that the photo had just been pulled by the agencies so the comments were out there long long before anyone else got involved, and VAST MAJORITY of the vile channels and even more vile comments were coming from the area located to the south of your southern land border, specifically the area between yourselves and Mexico.

If she did appear publicly looking anything less than the media's definition of "perfect" then new crazy conspiracies would pop up. If I were them, I wouldn't bother. The press can make do with photographs taken during royal duties.

I think they were badly advised by their PR to put out a photo. It was caving in to pressure over the 'where is she' stories. There is only 2weeks until Easter anyway, when they said shed be back: & now she's being crucified for doing what everyone does to family photos.

Broken trust? Yes. They won't trust the press or the public with photos of their children whom they wish to protect anymore (and rightly so). This whole thing is ridiculous. I agree. Who cares? It's a lovely photo that was taken by family, which the family wanted to make sure everyone was looking at the photographer (aka Dad in this instance). I suppose the press will now put out that when actress "X" or celebrity "Y" use some airbrushing or facetune, they can no longer use the photo. No? Well, there you have it.
