Hey man, fun concept going through vanilla pvp videos and breaking down some of the nuances (or sometimes lack off) of vanilla PVP. Some stuff for consideration, you were talking about ranges and you sort of eluded to how that gameplay has developed over the year, for me I think seeing Monkeynews mastery of the nova range in his videos really excited me, it would be cool to see a break down of more modern answers of vanilla pvp problems. Another instance is the rogues answer to gem being blind, a similar thing being done in Grims video. Showing parallels like that and maybe high lighting answers that has been developed over the years. You also mentioned deadzoning (i'm not sure if you remember the terminology "5-8 stepping"), and in the Grim video you mentioned the stop attack/clear target macros and that you utilize the fact that abilities seem to be 180 degrees, while auto attacks are limited to maybe 170 or something. I'd appreciate maybe seeing detailed playbacks of yourself showing these nuances in game, for instance in a controlled environment. Also if you like CB Hemo Prep, check Kenion's first video. The first three minutes there are in my opinion the most beautiful minutes of classic wow pvp. anyways, great videos and breaking down the globals with tool tips can really help someone who wants to start getting engaged in vanilla pvp, let's hope for an active pvp scene in a fresh rerelease!
Thanks for your comment mate will definitely look into all of that, great to have you part of the community! It’s funny you say that, I love the first Kenion movie! I was actually planning on reviewing it for tomorrows video haha. I love the music and of course his unreal edits. Yeah I think it’ll be a great video to do and he showcases the true power of the deathdealers set bonus. Was drooling over Laintimes Dark Edge of Insanity today. God damn, I’ve always said that AQ40 was the best patch in vanilla and I stand by it. Blizzard really went in with AQ!
Okay its an old video but first of all the real Laintime was just in his first movie whit the Interface bug this is the Original Laintime. Every other unti his laintime back video was not the real Laintime. It was his Charakter but a frend of him played. The Real Laintime was serving.for.2 years in the Korean Army there is an interview somewhere on the net. But yeah definitly this 2 guy was by far and i mean by far the best warrior at that time......He came back for a realy short time i twitch in i think 2010 ....but than he stoped playing .
i didnt watch the video yet, but yeah he is the fcking goat , this is The guy who show the way to play war arm in pvp, everybody in the world copied his playstyle, he was the reason i played war in vanilla. In my old days a mage losing to war, was terrible mage, because mage was the anti -class of war.
Yea uro from the guild nurfed he was a very famous warrior in vanilla known for theorycrafting the best possible gear for pvp, and yes blizzard did make an npc for him named High Warlord Uro in dalaran, here is an old video of him ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cv7PeO6RpjU.html
@@Toxieqt Something to take into consideration is that the bigger the name the bigger the target. What looks good on youtube is different then from now too
@@AshbringerOnyxia if you can't understand that the difference between a montage from two of the biggest names warriors showing highlights is different to someone showing their best plays (where he was outplayed lmao) then you are retarded
