I feel like they shouldn't have let the twist of fate with the chair be used in this match if it isn't going to be used as a finish. It's the perfect move for that and Darby kicking out of it and still being able to move around like it doesn't faze him made the move look weak. But still a good match

I have nothing against Darby, he is a good young talent. But having a guy that size beat people larger and stronger week after week is getting tiresome. It would be different if each time the matches ended in a big spot with him taking advantage and jumping in for the pin, but they seem to be pushing him as being able to beat everyone clean. When Rey Mysterio took on the Kevin Nashs and Big Shows he did so by pointing out the difference in size and power and having them work the angle of Mysterio winning through agility, countering effectively, and spots designed as "traps" the bigger guy would fall into with Mysterio then capitalizing.

AEW is doing it again. This is how you do a falls count anywhere/anything goes match. AEW is still the best. Men or women, it doesn't matter. I pity anyone who only knows the little boys & girls show who of course, didn't see this. They will never know what they missed by not watching AEW. That was great. @@stansmith5610 the risks, the violence, the destruction. Beautifully done. Nothing protected, nothing watered down. Pure street fight where a pin or submission counts anywhere. Would have loved more backstage fighting, but I lived what was done either way. Felt like the old days of wrestling are back in a good way. Allin and Hardy put on a show. Not 5 stars, but damn close.

Hey AEW I haven’t watched wrestling in over a decade because lack of hardcore matches, you guys are killing it with the “realism” of wrestling. You can use it if you see it. I love it. I love Matt Hardy and now I love Darby Allen. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’ve made a fan of someone who hasn’t seen the act of professional wrestling in a decade. This is awesome!!!
