@@TheDaveBlade I started on the hits for ps4 in January and gave up because some of the titles are total 💩 but good luck mate. I’m going for a full GTA and Tony Hawks PlayStation set before embarking on another collecting challenge.
As far as im aware, all ps3 games come with manuals. As for the essential/hits collecting i dont get it at all, kinda like those that collect the full set of wii u games. Just why? No one has nostalgia for that system as no one bought one.
@@AnotherNormalYorkshireman thanks for that mate, appreciate the knowledge. I do like a lot of the titles in both essentials and hits but I will only be getting what’s released in the UK cause there is a lot in Europe to hunt down. Knowing me and they way I collect, I’ll get so far and then sell them all🤣
@TheDaveBlade I believe some of later games towards the end of the ps3 cycle had the manuals downgraded to a white booklet of about 4 pages instead of those with the artwork on the front. Dead space 3 is an example. I only collect original print games as that's just my preference but I only collect ps1 and ps3 games. I have a few essential ps3 games but I usually sell those on once I get an original copy. The recent jacking up of the essential/hits prices also seems crazy to me when as a comparison platinum ps1 games are worth way less than the black labels.
@@AnotherNormalYorkshireman yeah I did hear that there was a simple black & white manual later on in the line. I must admit I was tempted to start collecting the Platinum range, looks a bit easier to find.
